Been under construction for my entire enlistment. Also, I'm sure they will claim manning as the issue but maintenance works three shifts a day but the gym cannot spare one person to work mid shift.

Bottom 20% base gym compared to other USAF facilities. Serious money needs to be spent to bring it up to par. Lots of broken items. Could easily spend 1M in capital improvements.

Very nice and decent size gym. It has different rooms. Lots of equipment, and it seems to be expanding. It has a basketball court, racketball court, track and swimming pool. It probably has more.

Great place to exercise. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I always enjoy the events they put on and I'm looking forward to more in the future!

Looks like they are going through some renovations, overall it's good it has at least one of every type of equipment youd need but still not enough equipment during the high demand of personnel that come through at peak times,

Lots of equipment and very spacious workout areas with a nice sauna. Users can register for 24/7 access at the front desk.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to wander onto a construction zone and then work out? Well, look no further. This fitness center has you covered. You like look through a window and see a perfectly setup power rack that you can not use? They got you covered! You like tiny, overcrowded rooms. Do you like running on an indoor track that's so small you are in a perpetual turn? Say less fam! If you need a Jacob's Ladder, they have you covered. Overall, it's your typical base gym that has overused equipment and a layout that is void of any thought or logic. Manage your expectations before walking in, and you will be fine.

Nice gym, but the free weights room always packed, so don't go if you're in a hurry.

Dyess gym looks like a weight-lifting marathon. Not everyone is into weights!Bring back the Zumba dance room with air like in 2017. Also, the Yoga & Pilates classes. These classes are great for weight management and body strengthening! If not a variety of classes besides weights and spin.

Decent gym. Has indoor pool, indoor/outdoor running track, racquetball courts, indoor basketball courts, video game center, football outdoor field, child mini gym, free weights & cardiovascular room, sauna, showers, & option to register CAC/ID for 24 hr access. Indoor track is 12 laps to a mile & 17.5 for 1.5 miles. Staff at front is surprisingly friendly. The Official USAF pt test room is on the left as you enter.Note:swimming pool closes frequently due to manning issues. Has useful hours, but useful for those on day shift.Cons: no wifi
