I love Big Tree Fitness! Coach Michael puts his heart and soul into creating a place where people of all ages and fitness levels can come together and support each other in their efforts to get stronger, mentally and physically. I’ve been inspired by Michael’s drive to continuously learn and grow. He reads, listens, and learns everything he can about health, fitness, nutrition, goal-setting, stress management, motivation, resilience, mindset… the list goes on. He humbly shares his knowledge with his members and leads by example, practicing what he teaches.Using the app to schedule my workouts for the week is easy and helps me to commit and be consistent. I love having the workouts planned for me. I don’t have to think about anything, just look up at the board and get to work. Michael has inspired me to do things I never thought I could do.

The best place to do my summer workouts while home from playing volleyball overseas! Michael is not only an amazing trainer but a person as well. He makes sure you work hard, pushing your limits so you can achieve your fitness goals! Not only is Michael great, but the people who workout at the gym have great personalities and extremely friendly. So glad I found this place 4 years ago!

After spending a year working out at home (during the pandemic) I was really ready to have an in person coach and gym to call home. Michael, the owner and coach, immediately responded to my inquiries and had me come in to see the gym and trial out the classes. All of the gym members are friendly and helpful and they do periodic picnics / potlucks etc.The programming is challenging (in a good way) and in the six months of attending Big Tree Fitness there have been many new movements weekly that keep the workouts dynamic and fun. The class sizes are small and personal and movements are always modeled to ensure that you are performing your workouts in a safe and effective manner. I have seen tremendous changes in my form, attitude, strength and overall physique and look forward to my continued success at Big Tree Fitness.

Big Tree Fitness is a second home for me. I’ve been a member of the gym for almost three years and have made massive strides in my health goals. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and creates workouts to challenge you. Michael is always there to coach you up and give you the structure needed to achieve whatever your goals are. There’s also a community within as well. You’ll meet other members who have like minded goals and will help push you along. Big Tree Fitness isn’t just a gym, it’s a family!

I love this gym! The trainer/owner Michael is extremely knowledgable, and is the best trainer that I have ever had, and I have had many! He takes into consideration any concerns you may have. Your workouts are individualized, you work at your own pace, he focuses on form, and he challenges you!. Small groups at a time (8 at the most). Nothing better than a great work out challenge! I have found my go to gym in Ohio!!! I absolutely love it! Thank you Michael!

Big Tree is a great place for anyone looking to get a great workout. Mike will get you started at whatever level and will push you to get better and better. My situation was a little different. I started in February at Big Tree, but I broke my leg playing rugby in May. (You will find lots of rugby players there!) Mike made special workouts for me to do and made sure they were safe for my injury. I felt like I could still stay in my routine and still get a decent workout. He is an endless book of workout styles, routines, stretches.. you name it. The people who will join you for your workouts are really sweet and motivating people. It’s a diverse environment free of judgment, and workouts are really lots of fun. You can choose to do all weights, only body weight, or a combo of the two. Mike will help you choose what fits you best, guide you through them, and coach you as needed. It is not intimidating, and the gym is very clean and well kept.I would recommend Big Tree to anyone, those who may just want a little extra “Am I doing this right?” or those “I can squat 30000lbs!!!!” people! The atmosphere is one where you are comfortable to ask questions, and know you will get an honest and correct answer.

I’ve been a member at Big Tree since 2018 and from day one to now have stayed consistent with my weekly routine and have made tremendous fitness gains while putting in hard work and having a lot of fun. The programming Michael creates is dynamic and keeps me interested long-term. It’s a well-planned combination of lifts, accessory movements, body weight, and cardio. Michael works with all levels of fitness to help achieve your goals safely and effectively. I enjoy the structure of scheduled class times and small class sizes. The gym atmosphere is laid-back and friendly; you’ll meet helpful members who want to see you succeed.

I recently moved to Ohio and joined this gym. I instantly gained a new family. This gym has small group classes that focus on weights and cross training. The trainers are knowledgeable, friendly, and challenge you. Someone is always around to spot you and make sure that you stay safe. They cater workouts to individuals, especially if you have an injury, etc. The clientele are also lovely and the gym is family-friendly. I highly recommend trying out Big Tree Fitness (they have 2 weeks of free trial classes too!), go once and you will be hooked! I love it!

Excellent workouts with an excellent and knowledgeable coach. Comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment. No big egos here, just good hard work. Small "class" sizes (doesn't feel like class, feels like fun) with a lot of individual attention which is highly appreciated. Great variety in workouts and in the people who attend the gym. Michael works with everyone on their own individual levels. Come ready to put in some work, push yourself, and this gym will help you tremendously!
