I miss the gym-since Covid I haven't beenback there but, I really did enjoy mymembership until the prices started toincrease due to covid- I couldn't really afford to pay a separate fee for swimming beside from my membership fee-people are friendly there, They had lots of great classes included with membership. They keep it as clean as possible.

If there is one thing I know, it's gyms and this gym has it all. Lots of weights to choose from, a couple of squat racks, and plenty of assisted machines to target any muscle group.Plus the staff is super responsive to requests and Vincent, the maintenance guy, is a pleasure to know as he is always friendly to be around. All of the personal trainers are super respectful and kind. This feels more like family to me at this point. For the price, you are getting all your needs met plus a feel of home. A job well done, Mariner!!

The gym is radically oversold. If you want to swim mornings, evenings, or holidays- good luck getting a lane. Locker rooms look untouched since the mid 70’s. Could be a cool gym if you like Arnold.

I really enjoy going to Mariners Square Athletic Club. I go primarily to practice and play both league and pickup #Racquetball along with many others. My rating is 4 out of 5 because I would like more attention to the cleanliness of the courts. I know they get their fair use but I also feel that the floors should and can definitely be better maintained.Sadly the Café was closed by the management. Not sure why but that little Café was a nice retreat afterwards where we enjoyed some healthy food and conversation.

This is a great club, but more expensive than some. They have an olympic size pool with a large hot tub and a second floor viewing area. There are showers, hot tubs, steam rooms and sauna in each locker room. Several different workout rooms and studios, racket ball courts, and a snack bar. The parking lot is large and the building is handicap accessible.

This is a nice family gym. Offers a lot from Racquetball to Pilates. Good weight and aerobic rooms with strong dumbbell rack and ample weights. Multiple squat racks, benches and hammer-strength. Friendly staff and low key strong members. Indoor pool too.

This is the best club/gym in the Bay Area. I've tried several others and this is easily the standout of the crowd. Good range of classes, people are friendly, there's a shopping mall and Safeway nearby which is handy, good Cross Fit option for those wanting more than just a standard "box". I've tried a range of CF in the past and Steve runs a clean well thought out program. Nice diverse range of members, no heavy wait time on machines and top notch equipment, esp in the free weight area. There's a nice small subsection just for women upstairs and the indoor pool is the highlight for those who need the water for ease on the joint or for those recovering from surgery/injury. For those with kids, there's daycare and a kids swim training center next door ( AquaTech) I've met the owner a few times, Kathy, and I think she's done a great job of keeping a small locally owned business on the cutting edge. Sometimes it can be tough to find parking during peak times, but other than that, it's worth it. Any investment in your health is really an investment in your own long term well being.

I've been member of many gyms across the U.S. and I love this one for the diversity of activities, classes, and offerings they present. The locker room is big and spacious and whether it's 6am or 6pm, I've never had an issue waiting for a shower or getting a locker. I joined mostly because of its Crossfit box, which is very well equipped and superbly staffed by the coolest trainers ever.

Mariner Square is an amazing facility!I sell my coconut oil based skincare line in their lobby once a month. The members and staff are always friendly. I love to swim in the indoor pool- so much natural light and not too heavily chlorinated. Tons of free classes with membership. The locker rooms have steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and free towel service. It's definitely a five-star club.

I joined Mariner Square Athletic Club a month ago so I could swim and use the jacuzzi to help with a serious back problem. The staff member who enrolled me was very helpful. I was underwhelmed by the women's locker room facilities, but guess what! They were soon to open a beautiful remodeled women's shower/spa/locker facility that even has a water extractor for your swimsuit. There is a small jacuzzi that will hold 8 people within the women's locker room so one need not suit up. I can't speak to the exercise equipment because I am not well enough to use it. The big pool is old but serviceable. The main jacuzzi's water is hot enough and the jets are powerful. I took the cheaper membership at $60 a month because I can come in during the day before 4PM. That mostly works.
