Always a staple in my schedule when I'm in town. Staff are extremely helpful and the gym has the atmosphere of somewhere I might run into a young Arnold Schwarzenegger rather than a cold, hard, contemporary fitness establishment. I'll be back time and time again.

Awesome facility and amazing people. They have every piece of equipment that you could ever need. Three fully equipped floors and a great atmosphere. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely train here again.

Solid old school gym in Biltmore village. Some of the equipment is a little worn but everything is clean. 3 floors with a functional training/crossfit area and a powerlifting room in the basement. Top floor is more bodybuilding machines and the main dumbbell rack (up to 120s) plus squat racks leg press and hack squat, middle is cardio, circuit training and a few more machines. Powerlifting area has a ghr table, a back hyper table a monolift, chains, and comp benches, including one with a Fat Pad, and the functional area has a oly platform and bumpers. Gym culture is good, the owner seemed friendly and I haven't seen anyone leave their dumbbells or weights lying around. The locker room does have a shower.4/5 because I'm comparing it to the VERY nice Gold's I left in Richmond (freaking stacks of Ivanko plates), the Gold's here get a 3 in comparison. No turf area or hard walls for throws, some areas lack organization or have grown crazy over the years. The first floor especially seems like the circuit area is totally wasted space. The 3rd floor db area has some soft spots that made me worry about how hard I'm putting down my dumbbells.

I have been a member a year now and truly love it. It has anything you would want. With three floors and all the square footage, it never really seems crowded. The staff always welcomes us in and have always been helpful. I highly recommend this gym!!

Owners, Danny Sharpe and his sons, are knowledgeable, trustworthy people. The gym is very impressive. I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, US Olympic Training Center Certified Weightlifting Coach, and hold a MS degree from Clemson Univ. I highly recommend Biltmore Fitness.

Fun gym! For only $35/month you get access to so many amenities, including the gym, showers, and saunas. There are always enough machines for people (no waiting around) and the overall vibe is friendly and uncompetitive. I normally hate gyms, but Biltmore Fitness is great!

Family owned and operated. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. No long term membership requirements. Everything from great machines to numerous free weight stations, do your own thing or schedule personal training with certified trainers. Whether you are local or traveling, this is the place to go in the Asheville area.

I’m from Illinois and came on vacation to Asheville. Biltmore fitness was the closest gym to me and I’m so glad I went. Very nice old school body building gym vibe, super nice staff who treated me and welcomed me in. Amazing gym goers who re-rack their weights. Amazing equipment. God do I wish I had a gym like this near me. 10/10 would go again. Favorite gym I’ve ever been too.

Just got a 1 week pass while I am visiting from out of town. I will absolutely stop by if I’m in AVL for a few days and want to train!A million reviews say “this is an old school gym”. And here’s another one, because it doesn’t hit you until you walk in and realize this is an epic display of, and an enduring example of the body building mindset of old. You can’t help but walk in here and be inspired by the history and the legacy. There’s tons of equipment, and lots of space across three floors. I’m the early mornings it’s not too busy and everything is laid out nicely in a way that makes sense. I’m stoked about my next couple of days working out here. The staff was very very courteous as well. I was helped quickly, and kindly and you couldn’t ask for anything more. This is now my spot when I’m in AVL! I’ll try and post some videos!
