All 4 of my kids, ages 7-16, really enjoy and always look forward to their taekwondo classes. The owner and instructors are so patient with the kids while also teaching them so much in such a quick time. They have an app with instructions so that the kids can practice at home as well. I love the atmosphere, location, range of schedule for classes, their developing friendships, and not to forget the discount for siblings! I'm so happy that the first place we tried after moving here turned out to be this amazing.

This is a community first Taekwondo studio. That is super LGBTQ friendly. They treat everyone with respect and patience. It's also good for going your own pace. Wether your a quick learner or you've never done martial arts before your gonna have a good time. All the staff are understanding and have a good sense of humor. They also worked with me on cost since I have limited funds. They really just want to build community through martial arts education. Awesome studio!

It has been amazing to see how taekwondo has given my son confidence and a new sense of discipline. He loves the instructors, and I have been thoroughly impressed with how they interact with each child individually while working in group class settings.

My daughter has been going there for month now and she has come so far! Blue Ridge Taekwondo has helped her with self defense and self control in this period of time! I would recommend this place to anyone they are so nice and understanding and really have one and one time with my child. She will be on her way to yellow belt in May! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for her next!!!! All the instructors take so much time working with the kids and so very nice to work with!

Been going for about a month now to the kickboxing sessions. Absolutely love it. It’s interval circuit training. We work for three minutes then switch stations. You are encouraged to go at your own pace and skill level. Alana is a great trainer and helps with any technique or questions you have. I highly recommend Blue Ridge, taekwondo and kickboxing! Especially if you’re looking for something challenging and a little bit different in your full body workout!

TKD is like my second home. Definitely my happy place. TKD has taught me a lot especially about making integrity based decisions. It is more than just a physical activity. Recently, I interviewed with a global financial services company and I got the job because the interviewers were very impressed with all the transferable and soft skills as well as the emotional intelligence that martial arts (Taekwondo) has helped me built in the past years. I took Taekwondo classes and I've never looked back. Super grateful.
