I love going to this gym, I made the switch from planet fitness and was the best decision I’ve ever made

Solid gym with plenty of cardio equipment. Inconsistent wifi (currently down with no timeframe on being restored) which makes it hard if you use online workouts for structure. Definitely has busy times and down times. Would be great if they had the sauna/pool that East Asheville location has.

The staff here are great to deal with. Lots of space for individual workouts great equipment and overall really welcoming atmosphere.

I've been a member here for almost a year now. The facility is clean and well-maintained, staff are friendly, and there is a huge selection of equipment. I've had no issues.

Stopped there for the meat sale advertised out front in their parking lot. My child needed to use the bathroom and they refused to let her go! They wouldn’t allow an 11 yo girl to use their restroom because she wasn’t a member. Well, guess what we wont ever be now! Thanks to Auto Bell next door, she was able to go before our long drive back home.

Great staff, Great equipment. There's a wide selection of equipment. I have no problem finding a nice piece of equipment designed to target the specific muscle I'm working that day. The entire gym including locker room and showers are always super clean. Nothing I see that needs improvement. All around great gym!

I was getting free access to another gym, but happily pay to go to gold's gym on Patton avenue. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and there are plenty of machines. At times, there's a little too much chatting while occupying some of the machines, but there is no grunting and dropping of weights, which I welcome.05/08/2023 Update - I'm still a satisfied member. The condition of the gym has held up over the last year. Jen and Monica are super helpful and friendly. now, if we can just teach the children to put the hand weights back in the (clearly labeled) slots, I'll be in heaven 🙂

I went here when it was the rush and it’s mostly the same equipment and it’s starting to show it’s age. Lockers rooms are in need of an update but they’ll do. Over all it’s fine. Way better than trying to fight over equipment at planet fitness.

NIce gym. Big. Lots of variety in the equipment. Nice staff. Clean. Just be aware that when you do the monthly membership, you will get charged for one extra month when you quit. So quit in advance if you are moving or no you will no longer be using the gym. It's in the fine print.

This is one of the nicest gyms I've ever been to. Not only does it have weights and cardio, it also has high intensity training and spinning classes and A swimming pool and a steam Room and a sauna and a boxing bag and so much more. Even day care for the kids. I highly recommend it
