Great place for kids to work on strength, coordination and confidence.

My 7 yo attends the homeschool class, and it has been perfect for him. He is learning skills physically and mentally. We have transfered values to home too, and it's priceless. Nothing has ever "wore out" this kid, until now! :)

We love ninjaville! We learned of it by coming to a birthday party for a friend. My boys are 6 and 8 and they enjoyed it so much that we decided to join a weekly class. It’s so good for them! We think it’s such an awesome place to have in Asheville and we hope more and more people join classes to keep the place running!

Ninjaville and Coach Kermit do a great job of combining agility, gymnastics and parkour all with the discipline of martial arts to create the perfect ninja. Definitely my 7 and 10 years favorite day of the week.

My son is infatuated with Ninjaville. He loves the obstacles, the uniform, and the constant movement. As a mom, I really appreciate Master Kermit’s commitment to my child’s growth, not just physically as a ninja but also mentally and emotionally with his confidence building activities and structure. Seems like a great program, but not for neurodiverse kids.We tried a class at Ninjaville in winter of 2019. Why the delayed review? For a long time I felt like our bad experience was my fault, or my kid's somehow. But with time I've come to realize that the instructor was just not trained or prepared with how to deal with a child like mine. I can't stop thinking about our experience and want to prevent other parents of kids like mine from having a similar one.My son has ADHD, ASD, and low muscle tone and his therapists had recommended we try martial arts and gymnastics. I thought this place would be the perfect mix for him!I arrived early so I could fill in the instructor about my child, but he arrived right at the class start time and didn't acknowledge me. No worries! Let's see how this goes. From the warm up I could tell that we would have challenges, and I should have left right then but I was hopeful things would improve. My son struggled through the warm up, receiving very little instruction, just correction, from Kermit. The mom next to me leaned over to me... "What's wrong with your son?" she hissed in my ear.I struggled not to cry but to smile every time my son looked my way for approval. Kermit tried to get him in a strong stance, nothing my son had ever done before. Kermit pushed his shoulders over and over "stand strong!" while my son's noodly body flopped around, totally unsure how to stand strong. He eventually curled up in a ball and started withdrawing. He got it back by the end of the class and enjoyed the obstical course. We left a little unsure of what had just transpired.I expected a follow up call to see if I was interested in continuing, and figured this was a chance to speak with Kermit directly about my son so we could try again. He never called, so I can only assume that he was not wanted in future classes. If your kid is a neurotypical, athletic type this seems like a great place. But if your kid is anything like mine, run far away.Ninjaville, here is how you can do better:1. Introduce yourself to new families before the class starts. Ask if there is anything to know about the child.2. Follow up with families, a simple "I see this didn't go well, how can we make it better?" would have been huge.3. Get some training in neurodiversity. These kids could be your best clients if you can learn how to work with them!4. You made us feel unwelcome and unwanted. The other kids saw that. Lead by example.

I can not say enough amazing things about Ninjaville and Coach Kermit! He is so kind and wonderful with the kids. My kids love going to the weekly camps and come home and don’t stop talking about it. He has our business for life!

Our son attends class here. It's great for him and the gym is very clean and Covid conscious. It's helping our son have a place to grow and learn in such a difficult season. Coach Kermit is serious about what he does but has made sure to pace the class for our highly sensitive child.

We had our sons 5th birthday here and it was awesome! He had the best time. Everything was cleaned before, during, and after. Kermit was very professional but fun with the kids and we could see improvement with my sons skills in just that short hour and a half. I would definitely recommend this place for classes, birthdays, camps, etc.

Thrilled that our family found Ninjaville! Great for all ages.... offers group classes as well as private lessons 👍 It’s amazing to watch my 14 yr old son improve each week with his skills. Kermit is a highly motivational and positive coach/ role model! …
