Now I'm a sunshine-y optimist type, not a fighter at all, but I feel like if I have to fight, I might as well be good at it right? Plus if the zombie apocalypse ever happens, I want to be prepared. So I looked into learning some type of self defense. Krav maga is a very pragmatic style of fighting, all about neutralizing the threat as quickly as possible, and then getting on with your day. So I figured why not?In any case, I went in for the free trial and I almost immediately knew that this was where I wanted to learn self-defense. Master Croley sets a very powerful example, in a good way. He's just like somebody's dad, very friendly and easy-going, but there's something in the way he moves that lets you know he's not afraid of anything.Classes themselves are fun and challenging; it's a good atmosphere, all about trying to learn new things and get better. Not competitive at all, and the higher belt students are very willing to help the newer students perfect their form. Also a little perk is that when you sign up for a program you can go to as many classes as you want, so there's incentive to hit some extra ones and get your money's worth. All in all, 5 stars, this is a great place to learn a new skill and develop yourself, I highly recommend it!

I would highly recommend Croley's Martial Arts.I am in my 50s and wanted to get back in shape, but I get bored lifting or running. I joined Croley's and found a fun way to work. The day time adult classes are fun; good hard workouts, where you learn a lot and no one has an attitude.

I don't blow smoke nor do I put my word on something that I can't back up, so when I say that my experience with Master Derek Croley has been amazing, positive, and life changing it has some real teeth in it. Let me put it in tangible examples. My son has been studying under Master Croley for three years. He has become stronger physically and mentality. He has also developed discipline and tolerance. But it doesn't stop there. My wife who suffers from multiple sclerosis has started Tai Chi under Master Croley. Her balance has improved along with a physical confidence. I myself began Tai Chi and Kung Fu three months ago. In that time my stress has melted and my fitness has rocketed far passed what the gym had to offer. Where's the proof, well my blood pressure on my meds has been holding around 130 over 85 for a few years. That's with diet and a healthy gym routine. Now I have hit an all time record 101 over 62!!! Mind you that's only three months. OK I'll some it up if you want to make your life better than it is regardless of where you are in life you need come in and talk to Master Croley. There is no way you don't walk away better than you where before.

This is an amazing place to learn Martial Arts and totally enjoy the experience. For a beginner, it's not overly formal or intimidating. I have fun every class, and find myself improving quickly - which just gets me more excited to learn. Master Croley is an awesome Martial Artist and instructor. He has, I believe, about 35 years of experience in all manner of Martial Arts. I enthusiastically recommend this school.

Just to let everyone thinking about a Martial Arts class for their child, this IS the place to go😊 My grandson started at age 4, is now almost 8, and is learning so many things about himself, focusing, being respectful, being safe, and learning confidence. I now take Tai Chi from Master Corley to improve my balance and strength, terrific! I have also attended Women's Self Defense and Stranger Safety with the kids. Well with looking into folks.

White Oak School is family friendly and a safe place to learn mixed martial arts.Master Croley is an 8th degree blackbelt and an expert in many different techniques, gleaning the best ideas for his students. My son and I have been studying for more than 7 years and look forward to each class as there is always something new and exciting to learn while being well grounded in the basic applications.Master Croley is entertaining, friendly, personable and has a strong moral character that he encourages in his students. Public service and philosophy are part of each student's growth. I am delighted with his influence on my son.

Our 5 year old son has been doing martial arts at White Oak now for about a year and loves it. Master Croley is wonderful with the kids and it's been great to watch him teach them skills and focus while also making class fun for them. We can see the difference in our son at home. It has been a great way for him to learn commitment to something - even when he does not feel like going he says "I have to go, I made a promise." We love the way that the curriculum incorporates a topic like self-discipline or respect each belt cycle. It's been a great way to help teach those concepts at home. And the smile on his face when he earns his next belt is priceless! We highly recommend White Oak for any family looking for a martial arts program.
