The folks @ Summit CrossFit are top notch. Positive, energetic and focused people. Attentive to everyone there. They make you feel welcome. I look forward to each class and they “fine tune” each class to work for me. I really enjoy being there. If your thinking CrossFit I recommend them highly.

From the moment you step in the door for your one-on-one intro class, you're welcomed. There are no egos here, just a genuine feeling of support from coaches and a community that want to see you succeed. It's a positive feeling in all the right ways. You compete with yourself but no one's left behind.Summit uses TRIIB, which gives you access to a mobile app that helps track your own progress as well as reserve spots in your classes, see workouts and fellow attendees, and manage your membership. It's a really nice platform.Classes are held 7 days per week, with more interactive classes held on the weekend. However this has been adjusted a bit because of covid.The gym is open now and feature socially-distanced spots with disinfectant. Masks are required but you can get some air if it becomes a problem during strenuous exercise.Finally, this is my first crossfit 'experience' so I can't tell you how it compares to others. However, I CAN tell you that having coaches to help you dial in weights is better than any spotter or self-instruction and they help push you the whole time. The best thing I've ever tried. I see why people come and stay. I only wish I'd tried it sooner. If you show up and put in the work, they take care of the rest. It's fantastic.

I rolled into Asheville, relocating temporarily, looking for a new box to call home. There are at least 7 CrossFit gyms in this town. I emailed and stopped into many of them. Summit was very responsive to email, super clear with their instructions and they welcomed me with a big smile. The facility is spacious and they follow COVID protocols seriously. The coaching is excellent and the atmosphere is really convivial. I get to push my limits with not only WODs that pair weightlifting and a met-cons, but there is also daily accessory work to build supporting muscle groups. This is the best programming I have experienced, yet! I am looking forward to reaping those benefits!

I have been doing CrossFit since 2015 until lockdown started March 2020. I did what I could at home during lockdown but nowhere near anything at the CF level. I felt comfortable getting back into a gym after getting the vaccine and Summit has been absolutely phenomenal in helping me get back into it. The coaches work with me everyday I go in with modifications and suggestions for movements to keep injury risk to a zero until my body gets used to CF again. I cannot sing any higher praises for this gym- they are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, careful, methodical- and the community is equally as amazing. I highly recommend Summit for anyone getting back into CF after a long break, doing it for the first time, or dropping in from out of town.

Summit CrossFit breaks the mold for all of my assumptions about this workout style. We hear stories about CrossFit, intense coaches pushing hardcore members to the point of injury.My experience with Summit is the exact opposite. The coaches are amazing, and they spend extra time with new members to train them on proper technique to avoid injury and get the most out of the work out. They also make sure the workouts are scaled down to the level of the individual when needed. And I need that.The members are very supportive and welcoming, and there is a strong sense of community at this gym. Add to that, I can literally see and feel my improvements in fitness as the weeks click by!If you’ve ever wondered if CrossFit is right for you, I encourage you to try them out. They will do a no obligation intro class, and then present multiple membership options if you wish to continue the journey. I am so grateful that I stopped assuming and tried it out for myself. This place is wonderful. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. They take care to ensure that you are performing the exercise movements correctly. They encourage and motivate you. I was a little intimidated at the beginning but Leslie and Donivan were really helpful to ease my trepidation since I had never done CrossFit before. The gym is always spotless. This is NOT an in-your-face boot-camp style gym. It’s positive, exciting, educational, and an incredible workout. I’m seeing amazing results both physically and mentally in a few short months. If you’re looking for a great gym, stop your search and check out Summit.

After experiencing a less than stellar experience at a gym here in Asheville, my partner Lyssa and I were STOKED to have found Summit Crossfit.Leslie, the Owner and Head Coach, is AMAZING! We were welcomed with enthusiasm, gratitude, and excitement. After entering the building, we were quickly introduced to the WOD and shown to our box.The equipment & space is immaculate. As avid crossfitters, my girlfriend and I have pretty high standards - and Summit delivered!We will without a doubt be back to this remarkable gym.10/10 recommend.

I always hated gyms and never knew how to properly use equipment or do movements without the fear of hurting myself. At Summit the coaching is top notch and the environment is always inviting! I always enjoy each time I get to hit the gym and get a great workout in! If it weren’t for Summit, the coaches there and the owners, I still would not be at a gym.

Summit Crossfit is excellent! The coaches really know what they're doing and are able to give corrections even in a big class. Classes start on time, with no dillydallying around. The facility is huge and has great equipment. The owners are awesome at COVID protocol and just overall professional. I highly recommend Summit!
