Horrible gym idk where these reviews are seeing that the machines are always able to be used. Everything was "out of order" and I couldn't even use ONE machine for cardio. Worst gym I've been to in bakersfield. The one by Gosford road as much more working machines than this location

Good gym with everything you need. I am an Active & Fit member who travels a lot, they take active & fit memberships at this facility. 2 platforms, 2 squat racks, 3 flat benches.

TUnfortunately the gym has cut back on sanitizer spray bottles and the sanitizer station. Two bottles in all of the weight machine area.Most of the staff is friendly and busy working.

The Bakersfield Riverlakes location is my favorite gym in town. It is always clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly.The oswell location is the worst Inshape I have ever been too. Extremely dirty gym, staff generally ignores everyone except for a few of the guys. The GM seems to not care about his location in terms of cleanliness. One of the most friendly staff members there is their mechanic. The Oswell location needs some corporate attention.

I was in town visiting family and I needed a gym. The staff went out of their way to take care of me!The gym itself is huge, great equipment, and more cardio than any gym needs however their weight area is TINY! We are talking one that’s right one adjustable bench and that area is packed all day. I come in twiceA day and there are always people waiting.I think the layout is pretty standard for a chain gym but with the amount of square feet they could have a better weight area.
