Love coming here. I do the personal training, small group personal training (up to 3 in a group, nothing like working out with my friends) and Bootcamp in Patterson Park in warner weather. I love it all. The trainers are amazing and really care about their clients. They challenge me to do better in my workouts and pay attention to my form which is really important to me. No two workouts are the same so it never gets boring. I also love that I can walk there. I've been going for about 4 years now and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I love this place! I'm in the 'getting back into shape' part of my fitness journey and am having so much fun at CCF. I've been going here for 6 weeks for the Small Group Personal Training as well as the Group X classes and I recommend both. The instructors and other clients are very inclusive and supportive. There's a lot of functional training so expect to sweat and get stronger :) Highly recommend!

CCF is the best! I have done both personal training (with Matt - he rocks!!) and groupx classes. The tight knit community and extremely fun and helpful instructors are why this has been my favorite workout spot. There’s a great variety of class type and the equipment is plentiful. There is no better personalized training in the city! Classes are equally wonderful & right-sized! Small enough for trainers to make suggestions and adjustments. Big enough for having fun. Overall a welcoming, supportive fitness studio to take you to your next level whether it's getting healthy or reaching your next PR.

I just completed the 12-week For Real '18 program and had such an incredible experience! It was the perfect amount of accountability and independence with a focus on overall wellness and health. The trainers at CCF are fantastic and the classes were always different so it never felt boring. Also, I was completely novice to interval-style classes and I never once felt out of place and always had the help or support I needed from the trainers. I had such a good experience and saw an increase in muscle tone from my shoulder down to my calves, I am continuing my monthly group class pass despite the program ending. I cannot recommend CCF enough and have been telling all of my friends in Baltimore about it!

I was a client at CCF for several years before moving out of state. We just returned for a vacation to Baltimore and I just had to stop back in for a workout at CCF. As always, I was more than impressed. The newly renovated facilities, talented and motivated trainers, and of course the "fitness family" environment did not disappoint. It reminded me that just one workout is all you need to get back on track. I left inspired and motivated to be back to my workout routine! Thanks CCF!

For the good part of my life I've led an active lifestyle. I was a multi-sport college athlete and I still participate in multiple adult sports leagues here in Baltimore; however, I credit Charm City Fitness for helping me to get into the BEST shape of my life. I've been a client for almost three years and last year I participated in The Get Real Challenge and it was at that point that I was my strongest and healthiest. CCF has also encouraged and supported me through events such as the Warrior Dash, the Baltimore 10 Miler, several 5ks, and now all I have left to achieve is finishing a sprint triathlon. Not too shabby for someone with congenital heart disease and two shot knees. That's part of my point though, no matter what shape, size, lifestyle, or disability(ies), the trainers at CCF work with you to achieve your fitness goals. At the start of every class or session they inquire about overall health and go from there. They provide modifications when necessary and never let anyone give up. They get to know each and every client and that's another reason why I enjoy CCF. I definitely consider the trainers and other clients my CCF family. It's unlike any other gym I've been to and I'm EXTREMELY happy with the results and relationships I've formed there. For anyone gym shopping, check out Charm City Fitness. I have never been one to go to a gym. I have been a runner for years, and have always done just that. Two years ago, my friend suggested I try Charm City Fitness and their Power Hour class. It has been two years and I am still going and loving it… Power Hour is great! I never thought it could help with my running but it has. Now, I can run longer and my race times are the best they have ever been. Thanks CCF, Dave, Jodi and the crew!

Charm City Fitness "CCF" is the best! Instead of paying a monthly gym membership that you never use, at CCF you pay by the class or training session and get personal attention from the trainer during the whole session. You are more motivated to get moving and get fit! Jodi and Dave are the co-owners and very involved in the business. Post-baby I did personal training sessions with Dave and he really helped me get back into shape in a healthy, safe way. My favorite class at CCF is Power Hour, which is a small group hour-long circuit training session in the studio. It is really high-intensity and calorie-burning.I am also a big fan of bootcamp, which is offered in Patterson Park in the Spring, Summer and Fall, and indoor in a local school gym in the winter. Bootcamp is tough and will keep you motivated with the group atmosphere. You can't go wrong with CCF!

I started going to CCF 2+ years ago when I was going through peri-menopause and felt like I was not getting the same benefits from exercise and was gaining weight and having changes in my body. I had always worked out on my own, so going to see a personal trainer was both scary and exciting! The studio immediately felt like a comfortable place to be and Jodi talked to me about goals, nutrition and health. She helped me deal with my anxiety and other personal issues. I was really unsure about working with a male trainer, but due to scheduling changes, I could not always work with Jodi. So, I had to work with David, and I got over my fears because he is a gentle, kind and humorous man. He and Jodi will push you hard and make you take your goals seriously, but they also give you positive feedback and encouragement when you try your best. Now, going to CCF each week is a positive and necessary part of my schedule. I really like the sense of community I feel with the trainers and other clients. There is a very friendly, warm and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Jodi and David and Laura (the trainers I've worked with) are lovely people and help you to feel comfortable and work with you to reach your goals. I love CCF and I would highly recommend it to anyone - whether you exercise all of the time or want to start. There is a place for every type of person here and you would be very welcome to become a part of this community, too.
