Honestly probably the best gym around. Definitely don't go to CRUNCH. Craig is the best and helped me with so much. But this gym is so nice and clean and just fun. I actually have made a few friends just by randomly talking to people.

I love Merritt I’ve been going here for 5 years. Hate that it increases once your 25 especially being a loyal customer here. What I can say that I don’t appreciate is how expensive the rooftop bar is. The food and drinks are a bit much especially when we’re paying so much for the gym as is every month. Things should be like 5.00. I got 3 drinks and two basic meals yesterday and was charged 100.00. Like wow. Other than that I love the locations aside from Owings mills. Very limited.

The best gym in Baltimore. I love lounging on the rooftop pool with my girlfriends. Friendly staff and folks at the gym. Reasonable priced drinks and food.

Great club! Massive facility, lots of equipment and friendly staff! The price is great because it includes pool access! My only issue is the parking garage. I've never been able to get the parking pass to work.

Round of applause for the Merritt pool staff: the employees that check-in the guests, bartenders (guy with the sick beard!!), servers (Jules!!), and lifeguards. Everyone does their best to make sure you have a great experience (they are so friendly!!)There is a good balance of families and young professionals, so it doesn’t get too rowdy (although in the past two weeks I’ve seen two people taken away on a stretcher from overconsumption of alcohol - the staff does great in these emergencies)The facilities are always clean and there are plenty of towels available. The only thing that would make this place perfect is a better menu. Sometimes the food arrives missing important ingredients or over cooked, so I don’t purchase food there anymore.

Merritt Athletic club in Canton is a great place and a place for all ages and all physical shapes & sizes. It is a good place to get fit whether you're 26 or 66 (like me), it just makes you feel comfortable and help is available if you need it. I have found it just a nice place to go and work out and be yourself.

Still the best gym I've ever been to, the staff is very friendly, tons of parking, huge facility, every machine you can think of, no wait time for anything, the gym goers are very curtious, just an over all great place to work out. They are also taking every precaution when it comes to the pandemic and I appreciate that, thanks a lot, I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for one.

Merritt Gym Club is not fully handicap accessible or mobility-impaired friendly. The disabled and elderly want to be independent and be able to access any facilities that are by law supposed to be accessible. We workout too and are entitled to do so by law. It's just sad that the gym doesn't seem to care about the disabled and the eldery to accommodate us or be up to code with accessibility standards. I guess, they think that the disabled don't deserve the accommodation cuz we aren't able bodied and shouldn't be working out in their gym or worth the money to accommodate. Maybe we don't look like the clientele they want to see at their gym. Very disappointing. See below for some specific issues, just in entering the building.1. The double set of doors to get inside the club (one to get into the vestibule, second set to enter the club) are not automatic nor do they have a push button to open and are VERY heavy and swing shut very fast (no hold delay on the piston), so you need help if you have a wheelchair, walker or cane.2. They don't have an inside elevator, so there is a steep, long incline to the second floor. This is very difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair, walker and cane.3. Merritt "Handicap" parking is in the garage only, not in front of the building, which does increase the travel distance. The Merritt Parking lot elevator takes you down to the first floor club entry only, and does not have a second floor access. I wish there was second floor entry to Club and PT office to reduce distance to travel up the incline and exposure to others in the gym. Note: The PT clinic, NovaCare is very accommodating, providing entry assistance for their patients in the form of a wheelchair ride to the second floor. This shouldn't be necessary in this day and age tho, if Merritt was more accessible to their members and tennants' patients.4. I have not used their bathrooms or locker rooms, nor other gym services, so I don't know the accessibility around those areas. I only saw how hard it was to enter the building itself and maneuver in it and decided not to join.I can't in good conscience recommend this gym to friends, family or colleagues due to these accessibility concerns.

This gym has a good variety of equipment and has done a good job with managing the pandemic. The staff is very friendly and engaging with their team members. You should be able to reach your fitness goals here.
