I love Movement’s location in Hampden. I spent a year in Remington, and came here almost 5 times a week, both to climb and to workout. For climbing - the routes are reset on a great schedule. Just frequently enough that the whole gym always has something new, but slow enough to give you plenty of time to project. It is bouldering only - no top ropes. For the gym - big enough area to work out, even for someone that doesn’t climb at all.The yoga is a great bonus as well. Fun variety of classes throughout the week. Instructors are super fun and accommodating for newbies - don’t be afraid to get in there!

Took the intro class after signing up for a membership. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly. Definitely give this place a go.

This is a great bouldering gym. I've been going for over a year, and definitely can give it two thumbs up. Clean facilities (with showers and lockers available), full gym equipment, fitness and yoga classes available, and really great staff.A wide variety of climbs are present for all levels, with pretty fun routes (at least I think so). I've been to a couple of other gyms (Movement and non-Movement) and I've learned to appreciate the decent slab walls at Hampden. The community here is amazing, and generally pretty laid back and friendly. It can get packed in the evening, especially between 6-8pm on weekdays, but that is probably all gyms in general.

Great place to climb, note there's only bouldering at this location no top rope. make sure to bring your student ID for a discount on day passes and monthly membership. Note they have snacks, drinks, gear and climbing shoes for sale--accessible without necessarily buying a membership/day pass.

Bouldering gym only. The facility was clean and staff was friendly. My problem with it is that it’s not a great place for beginners or people getting back into it like myself. The V0s were fairly easy then going into V1s we’re a bit defeating. As well as every time I’ve come it’s been packed with people. Maybe it’s just me but I’d enjoy some more beginner routes.

I've been coming to Movement for nearly 3 years. I've spent more time here more than anywhere else in the city. The climbing problems are creative and there are a lot of them to play with. Variety of ages, backgrounds, and skill level of the people makes it diverse and fun.Everyone seems to work hard on themselves and climb with passion. It gives me the drive to do the same.

Great location for bouldering, tons of paths for all levels. Locker rooms always look clean and well stocked!

Very cool! The bouldering walls were great. There wasn't a lot of climbs suitable for semi newbies, it seemed to go from Intro climbs that were super easy to V1's that were pretty agrressive, but the gym was clean, well lit, and we loved playing pool, too! The yoga class I attended was also great. We would definitely go back if we lived in the area.

Fantastic facility! Took an intro class and our instructor was courteous and helpful. Made sure we understood the rules and safety of bouldering and encouraged us as we tried new things.

Best bouldering gym I've been to in North America. Big facility, clean, good route setting, and friendly environment regardless of skill level.
