I think this place is a lot of fun. Only problem I have is it's pretty expensive if you're only going for one or two hours. It would be nice to have some type of special or hourly rate. especially if you come at 5 p.m. and you only stay for a hour or two. I also think that charging $2 for chalk is somewhat ridiculous if you have to spend $20 just to go there for 2 hours. I'm not trying to get a freebie but come on now. I also think that it is too cold there. When you have subzero temperatures outside and it is freezing inside makes you wonder why. The positive is the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is delightful.

We were here for my niece's birthday party. Everyone here was very friendly. The 2 employees that stayed with the party and entertained the kids were excellent. Very patient with a bunch of 6 year olds. They did a great job keeping the kids busy and entertained. Was my first visit here, and I was impressed with the service. Cant give a 5 star though, because the party room downstairs was freezing. I understand its winter time, but we were indoors. Otherwise, was an excellent visit!

Awesome new location. The guys at Steepworld took it to the next level with this facility. I had climbed at the original gym for going on a decade. As neat as the old one was, they couldn't have done a better job with the new spot. Brand new location with tons of parking that's easy to get to. Clean, modern, and downright beautiful. Thanks Jim for creating this amazing establishment. It truly makes Billings a better place tk live.

Highly disappointed! My family and I we're regulars at the old location, so we were excited to check out the new place only to find out it's EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!! They really should rethink they're rates ppl only climb for a few hours and $85 for a one day pass for 2 adults and 2 kids ages 6 & 3 is OUTRAGEOUS!

I've been coming here to train and work out for about 6 months now so it's time I wrote one of these. What can I say? I love this place. With (currently) 7 auto belays, 5 top ropes, and a small lead wall it is somewhat small (at least relative to the ones that I'm accustomed to in Denver) but it has one of the most extensive bouldering collections I've seen. There's plenty of problems here to keep all skill levels satisfied for a long time. The climbing routes are also well-set, fun, and challenging. They tend to under-grade here, but personally I prefer that to grading soft as it sets more realistic expectations of your performance. Everyone is committed to safety, and the equipment is top-of-the-line. It has as well-equipped a workout area as any Climbing gym with modern machines, weights, and fingerboards/pegboards.As with any gym it's all about atmosphere, and the community here can't be beat. They offer several classes including a top-rope class, gym-to-crag class, summer camps, a climbing team, and several live yoga sessions via video and in-person instructors. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and committed to your progression. Tony has been a huge help both in helping me progress and answering any and all gear related questions. Heath is always friendly and helpful for new and experienced climbers alike. Jim's enthusiasm for climbing is evident in just about every interaction he has with people, and the rest of the staff are always having a great time and committed to you doing the same. They are also GREAT with kids, parties, and new climbers- something that sets them apart.I've also made several gear purchases here (shoes, helmet, draws, chalk, rope, etc) and I've always felt satisfied that I got the right product for me at a good price. I'm happy to support such a quality group of people and a great place to train!

This was the first time I visited the new location and wow, it is a great space! There are a few bouldering walls and some regular climbing walls. They even have a gym on the top floor that overlooks the whole place. The pricing to try out the gym is reasonable, plan on spending a few hours. There is a lot to do here! If you are new to climbing I would recommend taking a class, then you'll be sure to get some techniques and safety tips.

A nice new facility in a more comfortable part of town. It's not huge but it does have a few auto belays, top ropes and a dedicated lead wall where as the previous one did not.It also has a bouldering wall of course. In addition there's a yoga/fitness class studio, a full gym, and a kiddie area for the younger climber.

The new location at Steep World is awesome! When I go pick up my son from there he's never ready to leave. He always wants to keep climbing. Great exercise and mental training for any kid who loves climbing on things they shouldn't. Lol

The new Steep World facility is amazing! 40 foot roped walls, a bouldering wall, and an upstairs area for beginners and training. There's a yoga studio and a fitness area. A wide open area in the middle means you can be running on the treadmill while watching your kids boulder. Or you can relax on the crash pad chairs while you relax your pumped forearms. It's definitely a fun and exciting place to get in shape. The hours are awesome, there's no excuse not to go in and work out while scaling some sick routes. To top it off the staff is incredibly friendly, willing to show you the ropes quite literally, and help with any gear purchases that you need.
