The Grindhouse

I was in town for a few months and couldn’t ask for a better place to train. Will is a great coach and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone that trains here are very welcoming and friendly. Ive been to gyms around the country and this one has them all beat. I didn’t want to leave but hopefully I can come back to train again.

After moving to Billings for work I wanted to try out Jiu-Jitsu as I had wrestled my whole life. I also had recently done some boxing training and wanted somewhere to train in that aspect as well. The Grindhouse DOES IS ALL!!!! Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, mma, Gi, NoGi, womens only classes, children’s classes! They are more than a gym, it is a family with some of the kindest and caring people you will ever meet. It all starts with the leadership of Owner/Professor Will and his wife Britani! They pour their lives into this gym family and have touched countless lives. I am thankful to be part of the Grindhouse fam! OSS!!!

I earned my black belt under Will Grundhauser and am so proud to be a part of the this gym for over the past decade. We have an eclectic group of people with varying skill and athletic levels. If you want a place that has zero morals and sets up fights against people off the street with no experience to make their fighters feel like they’ve accomplished something, go here. Absolute trash gym. No honor. Nothing. Pathetic. I’d love to see their sorry excuse for “boxers” fight people with actual training. They’d get shut down quick.

I'm a black belt from Ralph Gracie BJJ in Berkeley, CA and this is the best jiu-jitsu school on Montana. For kids and adults. Great kickboxing, boxing and MMA programs as well. Oss!

No other Jiu Jitsu or MMA gym in Montana has the same depth of knowledge and experience that Will and his team have. Myself and my two sons came in 6 years ago looking for some self defense training and found exactly what we were looking for and more. Such a great group of humans that train here, welcoming, knowledgeable, understanding and willing to share.
