So grateful for finding CrossFit ONUS and the wonderful community it encompasses. I started my CrossFit journey over 10 years ago, and finally finding ONUS has truly made me feel at home. The coaches are not only knowledgeable, but welcoming and supportive to each member. The location is prime, in the center of Boca Raton, and the gym is always clean and organized. If you appreciate an amazing workout alongside down-to-earth people, you have to check out CrossFit ONUS. šŸ˜„

Coach Steve is awesome. He breaks lifts down to the fundamentals and makes it fun at the same time. Iā€™ve been working out for years but he really helped me improve my techniques and make me more efficient. He also helped with gymnastic movements as well. Really good guy

Crossfit Onus is an exceptional gym with coaches that truly care about how you are doing and work to help you achieve your goals. I saw new people join that knew very little about crossfit and the types of exercises we would need to do during the workout, and the coaches would take time to properly instruct the person as well as provide other options that may be more suitable. If someone came in with an injury or inability to do a certain exercise the coaches would easily provide several alternative exercises the individual could do without having to sacrifice a good workout. When I asked questions about how to improve mobility or flexibility I was given stretches and things I could do to help. It all worked! The knowledge and expertise at this box is phenomenal. I mainly had Coach Debbie and Coach Steven. Both of those coaches are world class. The box is very clean and all the equipment is in exceptional shape, which is not common in most other gyms or crossfit boxes. The other members are very supportive and friendly. Everyone takes time to clean up their weights, put everything away properly, and help others. When I first began I would be one of the last to finish a workout, but the other members would cheer me on and help me clean and put everything away. It starts at the top with the coaches and ownership who have instilled an excellent supportive community. The programming for the workouts is phenomenal. They are always trying new things and developing new programming. You will never feel like the routine is getting stale. Through the year they have various challenges you can opt-in for and participate in. They weave in excellent strength training, benchmark workouts (a workout you do a few times over a couple weeks or months to see how you improve), and skill improvement (improve form, mobility, gymnastics, etc.).The availability and class details are easily managed through Wodify. I really enjoyed that they had classes every weekday at 5am. You have to sign up at least an hour before the class begins and you can sign up for classes about a week or so into the future. The great thing about using wodify is that your performance is tracked so you know exactly how much weight you should be lifting so that you improve steadily without injury. It is nice that the coaches take the time to input your performance for you. This has not always been my experience at other boxes.Crossfit Onus has a wonderful system that is ran by compassionate, knowledgeable coaches and supported by a dedicated community that wants to see you succeed. Also, they have A/C which in Florida is REALLY nice!

Iā€™ve been going to CrossFit ONUS for about a year. Hereā€™s my honest review.I recommend this place to my friends and anyone else interested in CrossFit. Iā€™ve worked out at other CrossFits around the USA and this place stands out above the rest for 3 reasons:First, this place is clean. Itā€™s the cleanest CrossFit Iā€™ve seen. Thereā€™s no chalk or sweat on the ground or on the equipment. All the members are respectful and clean up after the WOD. When you walk in the place looks pristine. All the equipment is ready, facing the correct direction, and in the correct location. Itā€™s a nice experience.Second, this place is safe. CrossFit gets a bad reputation for being dangerous. Iā€™ve experienced other coaches who donā€™t care enough about proper form and technique, because they just want you to get a good sweat, and that leads to injuries. This is especially true when it comes to olympic and power lifting. All of the coaches here are knowledgeable about technique. They emphasize the fundamentals, building your skills, and they work with you to tailor the workouts so that you push yourself without risking injury. This is a balance and they do a good job of that here.Third, itā€™s a nice welcoming atmosphere. There are complete beginners here and there are also CrossFit veterans lifting over 400 pounds. Itā€™s not easy to accommodate every skill level, but this gym is friendly and accommodating to people across all levels. Everyone is friendly but also willing to work hard and compete. This CrossFit is smaller than others Iā€™ve seen, so the classes tend to be on the small side which I like. The members Iā€™ve interacted with are friendly, relaxed, athletic, and humble people. The coaches want you to succeed in your goals and Iā€™ve never seen a disrespectful or unfriendly member here. Before I joined this place, I was very nervous about olympic lifting and anything overhead. I used to skip olympic lifting workouts before. Here, I relearned how to snatch with correct and safe form, and now itā€™s probably my favorite lift. I couldnā€™t do handstands, chest to bar, rope climb, and other classic CrossFit movements. Now, Iā€™m doing all of it (except muscle ups, thatā€™s my last milestone). If youā€™ve made it this far in this review then you owe it to yourself to try this place out. This review was not paid for or incentivized in any way.

Small but mighty! Great equipment, great coaches, clean, organized, AIR CONDITIONED!! This has been a great gym to us! My husband has been doing CrossFit for over a decade and itā€™s been so great to watch him get back into it after a few years off. Iā€™m new to CrossFit but I felt strong and athletic/ active with outdoor stuff pre-kidsā€¦ but 2 pregnancies in 4 years, a torn shoulder, a broken foot, and a pandemic; and I was pretty much at my lowest strength and agility wise. Onus is getting me back on track. Enough push, great modifications for technique and staying injury free, and the ā€œcrewā€ is incredible. Definitely feels like a family already and itā€™s only been 2 months. Iā€™ve already got 2 great accountability partners that keep me on my toes and signed up to regular classes. I was NOT a ā€œgroup fitnessā€ type before Onus. But I was at a point where something had to be done. And Iā€™m incredibly great full for Onus and the crewā€¦Thanks to all the previous reviews, we found this place. So I wanted to make sure to post incase anyone was on the fence. Do it! Definitely recommend to anyone! And level, any age. You will be in great hands with the coaches and the crew. And before you know it youā€™ll be checking work outs at 7:01 pm each night šŸ¤£šŸ˜.

This gym is top notch. I have been looking for a crossfit gym that stuck to the schedule started/ended on time and had a great feel to the gym. People are super friendly, THERE IS AC!, and the gym is very very clean - i thought the gym was brand new it was so clean. That just shows the level of detail and attention to the gym the owner Stephen puts into it. Great coaching, they pay attention and arent on their phones.. i could go on and on! A Must try gym!

If I could give Onus 6 or even 7 stars, I would. The difference in quality between this CrossFit gym and so many others Iā€™ve been to over the years was apparent from the moment I walked in. They say cleanliness is next to godliness and this space is cleeeaan (bonus points - they have AC)! Steven, Debbie and Nina really take the time to understand where your fitness levels are as well as your personal needs and concerns with regards to goals and injury. The attention to detail they take in making sure that you understand the movements and are executing them properly at a weight and pace thatā€™s appropriate is far beyond any fitness instruction Iā€™ve received before. The group classes are an excellent environment with tons of energy and encouragement, not just from the coaches but also other gym members. I have personally skyrocketed beyond where I was at when I started here just a couple months ago. Come see what the hypeā€™s about!

Itā€™s so hard to find caring and responsive business with great services that not only are advertised, but are actually promised and continue to stay great. I did my first few personal training sessions with Coach Debbie who is extremely easy to work with, patient (especially since Iā€™m new to cross fit) and experienced. Daniel and another amazing coach, I cannot remember her name, are all attentive and knowledgeable. I love the convenience of reserving your classes and checking your progress on an app. They have 7 day a week options for classes. I was never a gym person, but this place keeps me motivated and accommodates my very busy lifestyle as a working mom. Thank you!!

CrossFit Onus exceeds any other gym in the area. The workout facility is extremely clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The coaches are knowledgeable and encourage members to give feedback on the workouts and any physical issues they may be dealing with at the time. If the workout posted cannot be done by a member, the coach will modify the workout and work with the member to ensure they safely accomplish a workout to their satisfaction. The coaches are amazing and create a ā€œfamilyā€ environment among all its members.CrossFit Onus is owned by Steven Wang. Steven has successfully developed a gym with great coaches, classes that start at 5 am and are offered ALL day long, speciality classes (weight lifting that help with your technique), personal training, nutritional guidance , etc etc ... everything you wished a gym would have is all at CrossFit Onus.

CrossFit Onus is a fantastic place to workout. Everyone that I have met there is super friendly and motivating. The coaching, especially Steven is top notch. Steven is very thorough and truly wants to see his athletes better themselves. The facility is clean, the equipment is new/well kept, and the ac works great. The schedule makes finding time to fit a workout into a busy day very easy. The workouts are fun, challenging and allow you to work at your best capacity. Don't be shy...drop on in for one of the best CrossFit experiences you can have.
