LA Fitness

The bad: Mediocre equipment in need of repairs, not enough free weights, not enough space in the stretching room and the cardio is on second level, it's hot as can be up there from the lights at 5:15 am. The good: the staff is very friendly, they have a newer TRX and functional training area, the place is pretty clean for a gym.

Love my gym my wife and I do weights together on the weekends or early before work . I also play Raquetball here 3 to 4 times a week . Love the indoor Raquetball courts .

I think it’s fine. Locker room was hot but its better than freezing ac. Also there was NO SOAP. Please add handsoap again… the dispenser was actually totally removed from the wall (?)Working in area this fall-winter I joined LA Fitness (my normal gym is boutique in Hawaii) and I’ve been happy with it so far except that it is always busy. You gotta be flexible and jump on equipment as it opens. Im ok with that though- been going around to boca, delray et switching it up.

I get better service at planet fitness for $10/moThis location is dirty and lacks enough equipment for the amount of members it host. You can barely move and the wait to use equipment is ridiculous.

Locker room smell was horrible, as were the bathroom and showers . Pool was very good but lacked a lane line to separate the 4 lanes. Only had 2 lane lines for 4 lanes.

If you like ZERO soap constantly in the mens room across 10 or so sinks while stinking like body order and smelly disgusting feet, people trimming their beards in the sinks and basically acting like they are homeless and have no bathrooms of their own, and along with the mens room disaster area hardly any workout benches that are constantly occupied by meatheads yukking it up with each other, then YES this is the gym for you. Unfortunately in Boca you have to take what you can get, and this is basically the only gym in East Boca, unless of course you want to pay $250 a month at Lifetime Fitness which is the EXACT same experience for 10X the price.

Solid Gym besides the countless leaks and AC that’s been on and off for almost a year i do recommend signing up at LA fitness just don’t apply for a job I had my gm tell me i would be making at least 60k during a interview and all these other fairytale stories management at this gym is corrupted jasmine is amazing besides that the environment in this gym is horrible that’s probably why for the past year new employees have come and gone within a month if that just being honest 👍🏻

Nice gym, however I think they turn up the humidity or temperature because every time I walk towards the back of the gym, my hair frizzes up so badly and I sweat so much lol (this doesn’t happen at the other LA fitness I go to in Boca). What’s up with this? Another review mentioned the same thing LOL

The gym is a lot nicer since the renovation but most of the equipment is still old and falling apart. Bolts holding adjustable chair backs being held together with a prayer. The free weights are always a disaster. The new squat racks are really nice.

Awesome place, but the vending machine is broken for at least 4 months. Please guys give some efforts to fix it. It helps a lot.
