This review is specifically about an employee, not the club itself. I am so very thankful to have found Nicole Freeman at Midtown! She is an amazing trainer and truly the main reason I am still a member.Nicole is extremely good at her job and brings a professional and educational experience to every session. It has really changed my life and I am very grateful to have her train me.I would recommend anyone looking for training to look no further than Nicole.

This gym is going downhill. They apparently no longer clean gym equipment after patrons. Used to be they would put a cone by your piece of equipment like exercise bike or treadmill when you were using it. Then someone would clean it afterward. As a patron, you knew to avoid equipment with a cone until it was cleaned. Now you have no idea if equipment is even cleaned during the day unless you physically watch a gymgoer clean it right after they are done. Also they hiked the cafe prices so much that you rarely even see members bother getting something at the cafe. A smoothie went from 8$ to now over 10? Sorry but that’s above inflation and basically a moneygrab. My guess is its backfiring because I rarely see people queuing for the cafe. Membership prices and basically all the incidentals also went up despite the above mentioned problems. They charge variable pricing on tennis courts as well despite the fact that the courts are often empty at many hours of the day. The back stretching area is often being cleaned in the evening and then they often turn the lights off in the area, making the late gym crew feel unwelcome there. Do I really need to turn on the lights to an area during business hours when I’m paying you this much money? This place used to have an upscale luxe feel to it. Now it seems to have used car dealership vibes, trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you while giving you less for it. Sad.

midtown is a wonderful gym box. The gym experience, however is greatly diminished by the music that is pumped in from the parking lot, locker room, basement and general fitness area. There is no escape from cacophony of sounds that bleed in everywhere.Local gym management blames the sound machine on corporate. If you join the gym and care about noise, do yourself a favor and purchase noise cancelling headphones. I’ve decided to look elsewhere.

WARNING: Do not give this place your information to get additional information and find out there rates !!I’ve never set foot in this gym. However, I have been looking for a new local gym and came across this one online. I had to put in my contact information (phone number/email) to get additional information and rates. I was hesitant, but I did it. DO NOT DO THIS. A few hours later I started getting non-stop spam texts and phone calls. Since that day, I get around 20+ scam calls a day. I do not think this is a coincidence since this was the only place I gave my information to and now all the sudden this started happening. Do not trust them with your information they will sell it.

Great facilities. Everyone in the family can find something they enjoy doing here. I prefer group fitness classes while my family prefers the pool and free weights. Staff is professional and polite. People of all fitness experience levels can feel at home at this location.

Great club! Staff is very courteous and professional. Got to train a couple times with personal trainer Joey - awesome trainer! Machines and weights are top notch. I've only been to a few of their many classes offered - got a good workout while having fun. Still want to check out more from their offerings. Plus, place is very well maintained and clean everywhere. Lastly, I like it that the General Mgr. Mark B reaches out to club's members, requests feedback on experience, and actually makes efforts on fulfilling those comments received, when reasonably possible of course. Overall a 10 for 10! Thank you!
