Fantastic experience dropping in. Everyone was very friendly, happy to help with scales, and generally very encouraging. The coaches (I met three) were excellent. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been a member here for a few months now and I love it! It’s a few minutes of a walk from the Arlington T stop. It doesn’t look like your typical CrossFit location, it’s inside of a really nice building with a furniture store and deli, I got a little confused my first day finding it. Every single coach is great, they give great feedback and are very helpful. You can check the WOD on an app called SugarWOD and their programming is excellent. I always look forward to their workouts, they’re just the right amount of challenging. I’ve been to many CrossFit gyms and this one I highly recommend!!

Good spot! Friendly coaches, ample clean and working equipment. I'll say that just for dropping in, the website and locating the gym itself could have been explained a little better. Go into the big building. Take a right. Find the invictus door. Head down the stairs.

Just dropped in. Coach Bern was expert at explaining the WOD and warming us up. Got my a— whipped! The members were warm and welcoming. Locker room has showers, towel service, and even mouth wash! If I lived in the area, this would be my CrossFit home!

I have been a member of this gym for about 5 years now and I love it. The quality of the coaching is excellent. The coaches take you through a warm up before each class, and they demonstrate each movement beforehand. They also coach you if they see you are doing a movement incorrectly. I would usually rather sit on the couch than work out, but once I am there, it is actually fun! Fun people and nice coaches. I believe my fitness has improved quite a bit. If you are feeling intimidated by CrossFit, don't worry, you can "scale" the exercises in any workout to your current abilities.

My wife and I were visiting from Denver, CO for our 5 year wedding anniversary. When we travel it is a ritual that I visit the local gym and she (the garden or coffee shop). Either way I enjoyed my time during open gym. Alex was very hospitable. I enjoyed training in the basement of their gym to continue to prep for an upcoming Powerlifting meet. Thank you for the visit.

Some of the best coaches and programming I have ever seen at a gym. People who really care about fitness, and the people they serve. Highly recommended. (been going for over a year) I just read a negative review of the athletes and coaches. I will say that while yes, this gym has some of the top athletes in CrossFit, they are also some of the most friendly and welcoming people I've ever met. It doesn't matter if you are starting out or experienced, they treat everyone the same.

Take the best parts of CrossFit and plop them down in Boston's Back Bay; that's what you get here. The coaches and the community make this a very special place. This place brings together true professionals who are dedicated to complete fitness, incorporating a bevy of regular barbell-oriented WODs, gymnastics-focused classes, powerlifting and Olympic lifting classes, yoga and mobility sessions, and endurance programming. What's more is that every single coach is really focused on encouraging you to be the best athletic version of you that's possible. I love that.In addition to the wonderful team working at RCFBB, there is a great sense of community here. Bern Prince leads a lot of the social activities (e.g., Friday night outings, formal and semi-formal events) but there are a lot of other ways that community is built and supported here. Since joining in 2013, I have seen members support the Boston Iron (NPGL) team at matches, get together to run mud races or other endurance events, cheer on members running marathons, and team up to participate in local weightlifting or CrossFit competitions. It really feels like one big fitness family. Whenever I'm traveling for work, I realize just how special this particular environment is. I strongly encourage anyone who wants more than a typical gym experience to check out the place!

Reebok CrossFit Back Bay is like no other CrossFit training facility in the area. I have been a part of the RCFBB community for 2 years now and have yet to feel like I needed to make a change. First off, their dual locations make for an easy commute to and from the gym; this location, specifically, is outstanding. Not only is RIGHT next to the Arlington T Stop, it also hosts two separate gym spaces - bonus! RCFBB's coaching staff is one of the best I've worked with; they're personable, educated, and genuinely care about the progression of their members. Their diverse skillsets are a huge resource for members looking to advance in any way; whether its mobility, strength, or endurance - there is always someone you can work with. The combination of RCFBB's pristine facilities, equipment, staff, and community make it a force to be reckoned with in the "gym world." So if you're looking for a facility with a tight knit community, killer staff, and challenging workout programming (for all skill levels), Reebok CrossFit Back Bay is for you!!

So you wanna start CrossFit and you live in Boston.....? Well this is the place to do it. The day I joined was the equivalent of signing up for a life changing experience both in and out of a gym. The coaches here are nothing but the best, ready to make you the best you can be and willing to help you even on their days off. The community keeps growing and growing and has become something of a family to me, one of them happens to be my girlfriend. The facility at St James is wonderful, super nice locker rooms and showers which is new to most crossfit boxes. Walk in and youll see how clean the enitre gym is ready for you to crush a WOD and walk out of there. Enjoy the time here because its well worth it.
