I met Blake Sama 10 years ago at Northeastern University and over the years he has continued to impress me with his commitment to improve the fitness and well-being of the community through personal training. He works hand-in-hand with every client, prescribing the perfect plan to help them get to where they want to be. I highly recommend MOVE!

Tailor made! Personalized personal training with great coaches. I learned about MOVE Lab from my work and looked into them and saw Blake's silly but fun "Monday Moves" on Instagram and all the people he tagged in powering thru the not always easy Monday MOVE challenge. Movement Over Everything as Blake always says. So I got more familiar with the coaches and have been seeing a coach for a little while now. MOVE Lab isn't about seeing who can lift the most and watching yourself in the mirror. MOVE Lab is about getting yourself educated and excited about being healthy. My coach Eliza really listened to what I like and dislike, and tailors my workouts for me and KICKS MY BUTT!! Love the energy and the team at Movement Over Everything!

I had been “working out” for 15 years before being introduced to MOVE by a co-worker, and thank God I found MOVE, because I was doing a lot of things wrong. The coaches at MOVE have effectively overhauled my bad form and bad habits, and now I squat and hinge like a pro. MOVE has taught me to incorporate compound movements (that were previously intimidating) into my work out, and to focus my attention while working out to activate the proper muscles during each exercise. I am no longer injuring myself due to bad form. I feel the difference during my workouts and during recovery, and I see the difference in the mirror.MOVE is not a “big box” gym – the coaches are extremely attentive, personable and have been accommodating to my somewhat erratic schedule. The MOVE Lab is perfect for 1-on-1 training (especially during these times) – it is super clean, has all the equipment you would expect to find in a much larger space (and more), and is conveniently located. I highly recommend MOVE for someone who is starting their fitness journey, or anyone who is looking to pull themselves out of a workout rut.

The best part about the MOVE team is that they're dedicated to actually helping people improve their lives. The approach based on science and body mechanics is designed specifically to help you quite literally move better, feel better, and perform better in all areas of life. They're clearly well educated and experienced in all of their respective expertise, and provide something for everyone's individual needs in a unique space that is judgment and pressure free. Highly recommended.

MOVE's seminar was fantastic! We met for 4 weeks, each week covering 4 different movement patterns. Blake is super knowledgeable not only about strength and conditioning, but can also assess how your body moves and knows how to help you reach your goals safely. Following each seminar he also gave us a really great "cheat sheet" that reminded us what we learned so we can keep improving on our own. I really enjoyed working with MOVE and look forward to what they are offering in the future!

The Movement Seminar I took was SOooOoo helpful. The classes were small and very responsive to our needs/questions and covered a LOT of ground in a short period of time. I have worked out all my life, as a D1 varsity athlete, in gyms, gym classes, on my own... and it was amazing how much I still had to learn - and how helpful it has been putting those lessons into practice! Blake is a true American hero and I hope to work with him or his team more in the future.

I took a move seminar with Blake and it is one of the most informative and inspiring classes I have ever taken! Coming from a background of CrossFit for 5 years, it is safe to say I have experience with working out. But Blake put every movement to the test and changed my thinking on the deadlift, squat, and more. This seminar stresses moving with integrity and consistency.l He had an answer to every question without hesitation. Move exemplifies what standards every gym or fitness group should have for their members form and technic. So if you’re just beginning or looking to get better, move is the place to be. Thank you!
