All instructors are very knowledgeable and will instruct you in accommodations for age and abilities. Great depth of experience! I’ve been coming for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They really care about clients and their health.

Black Rock Pilates is the most authentic Pilates Studio. I drive 40 minutes to head over to Laura and her incredible faculty, despite plenty of studios closer to home, because there is no better place to find inspiration. Whether a complete novice or a more experienced mover, each student will find that the staff is knowledgable, inspiring, informative and caring. I've got nothing but love for Black Rock Pilates!!

I've been going to Black Rock Pilates Studio for 7+ year now. Have taken all types of classes.. reformer, mat, TRX, special one-off classes and privates. What can I say - I find them to be the best! The instructors are WONDERFUL and so very knowledgeable. I suffer from "various sever back issues" and this studio with these exceptionally trained instructors have saved me!

I started going to Black Rock Pilates for about a year now. The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I love that I "feel" my workout the next day. It is great for someone like me who has had previous back/neck issues and shoulder surgery in the past. I only wish is that the facility was bigger because some of the popular reformer times are filled.

My husband, son and I have been coming to Black Rock Pilates for several years, working with multiple instructors over that time. We started as complete novices, and each of us, through the patience, encouragement, and support of the instructors, has achieved things we never thought we would be able to accomplish. As my husband and I have been aging, we’ve found the skills we’ve learned to be invaluable. Our much younger son has also benefited tremendously, as he’s developed outstanding strength and agility. We have found every one of the instructors to be very caring and attentive to our individual needs, focusing on our individual strengths as well as our specific areas of weakness, and we feel like they’ve become members of our extended family. We look forward to many more years of being part of Black Rock Pilates!

I've had the joy of going to Black Rock Pilates Studio for a decade, and love it. Laura is a wonderful leader who hires teachers who are all kind, and have different personalities. You can always find multiple teachers who will fit the way you love to work and learn. The energy at the studio is inclusive and warm.

Amazing Pilates studio located in Black Rock! The entire staff is super nice, and the trainers are top-notch and all-around knowledgeable about Pilates, joint pain and are accommodating based upon your needs and skills level. Additionally, these ladies stay on top of the latest as it relates to Pilates and Pilates equipment, so they are constantly learning and bringing those learnings and equipment to their clientele.

Black Rock Pilates has very knowledgeable and professional instructors. The classes are run with explicit instruction and modifications so your needs are met. Jayne’s 45 minute Reformer classes are fun and efficient. I have gained strength and mobility over the past four years- even with having a shoulder replaced and two cervical discs repaired. I am definitely walking taller and more comfortably thanks to Jayne’s classes!!

Been a member of Black Rock Pilates since 2010. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Love the mat classes and the foam roller class. Highly recommend.

I am fortunate enough to have received individual guidance with many instructors over the past 15 years. Each has taught with remarkable expertise, attentiveness and kindness. At age 84 I am still learning about my body and how to use it to accomplish my needs. I can think no better investment of my effort and time and I hope to continue for years to come.
