Edge Fitness has terrible customer service. There is no loyalty to customers. I am very disappointed with the extra charges in my account. A front desk member named Bobby pressured me to pay $186.86 amount to work with a trainer as I have already paid the same amount in cash for the trainer. I finished four weeks with a trainer, but I never agreed to do further classes. Bobby and another manager lied to me that I was in the contract and I have never signed the contract. I also informed the bank to dispute the transaction. Bobby and the manager doesn't agree to give me a refund and pressured me to do further classes as I never agreed to do more classes. Bobby never called me back when I called him to ask about the charges in my account. He never called me back. I only took four classes and that's it. It is very frustrating that the front desk staff is not loyal to the customers and lies to them because they want extra money even though I did not agree to their terms. The front desk staff needs to improve on their customer service and maintain loyalty to customers. The front desk staff is ripping money from the customer. This is absolutely unacceptable, unethical, and dishonorable for Bobby and the manager to treat me with no loyalty and lies that pressured me to put extra charges on my account that I never agreed on.

Peter is the best membership advisor they have to offer. He made everything very quick, simple, and easy to understand. If you need a gym membership, Peter’s your guy!

If there was a negative star review, I’d pick negative five. The place is an unfriendly toxic environment. Some of the employees are rude, also some like to talk negatively about the members who train there. Some employees there are stuck up and accuse people of something they never did. A lot of members there made me uncomfortable because they will make fun of me 90 percent of the time I worked out there, I have friends who can vouch for that by the way. Got banned for unknown reasons but the most craziest part was how I made people feel uncomfortable supposedly. All I did was keep my head down and mind my own business because I wasn’t even comfortable socializing anymore. If I was ever unbanned, I’d never go back anyway, but I’m in a better gym now and I suggest some people should go to a different gym. Have a great day everyone.

Excellent staff, friendly people always clean. Stephanie, Alan, Naomi, Lee and everyone else is wonderful at this facility. I love the fact that every time I walk in they greet me by my name and they make my shakes they way I love them.

That kid Greg up front is a problem. Does not return my phone calls, nor answers any of my questions in terms of memberships and what not. My daughter also said that he gave her an inappropriate look and made a comment of how good she looked and she came and complained to me telling me how she felt uncomfortable. Sad that working at the edge is his career, Eve more sad that now I’ll be canceling my and my daughters membership over him. Wish corporate did something about it. I will be making a formal complaint.

I joined last summer after moving to the area. It’s a fine gym and can be quite nice, but I can’t help notice small quality of life issues keep stacking up. The first I noticed was locking the spin room up between classes. I enjoy spinning on my own as a quick warmup. The reasoning was they didn’t want to clean up weights brought in there between classes. That doesn’t really make sense to me. Second it has gotten really crowded in the morning. 3rd and most frustrating of all is the availability of equipment, specifically individual handles for the cable. I shouldn’t have to work around hunting them down. Spent 10 minutes looking for matching handles only to find that someone else had jumped on the machine ahead of me.

I have been a member for a little over a year. I’m terms of equipment and facilities, I have no complaints. It is pretty clean and has nice equipment. However, Edge needs to restrict memberships to adults. The gym is overcrowded with children. This is the only gym I’ve seen with this many kids and it’s getting old.

Decent. The gym itself is nice. There is lots of equipment. 6 squat rack, 5 platforms, etc. when something breaks it is fixed quickly. Staff are friendly and the facility is kept clean. The issues are the overcrowding and the clientele. 8a-2p on weekdays is about the only time that it’s not incredibly packed. After that, the packs of high schoolers roll in. They loiter around in groups of 4 to 6. They have terrible etiquette and rules don’t ever seem to be enforced. Often they don’t re-rack their weights, leaving a bar loaded with multiple plates for other guests to put away. They don’t wipe down equipment. They don’t respect other’s space; had a high school boy try to step over the bar while my BF was deadlifting, mid lift. Dangerous and disrespectful. They take photos in the locker rooms. They capitalize a piece of equipment as a group, often just talking and not actually using it. Overall, the swarms of high schoolers make it incredibly unpleasant to actually workout there.I’m not sure what the gym can do about that since they are paying customers. Maybe more staff presence in the weight area reminding folks to re-rack etc when they see someone leaving their weights around. I dunno, but if there is that many people with horrid etiquette, driving other members to leave and cancel memberships, then maybe there should be more staff to help enforce rules. Everyone I have talked to has the same complaints. I will be looking for a new gym in the next couple of months.Never used personal training or classes, so I can’t comment on that.

I love the gym, but recently overcrowded and filled with many groups of young teens. The equipment is outdated and not maintained properly. The atmosphere here isn't very welcoming anymore usually can say hello or get a greeting, but now just stares, and I don't feel comfortable working out here.

I have been a member here for 6 months, and even over the course of this short time I have seen the downward spiral that this gym is in. I saw Edge’s previous reviews before I signed up, but the location is what sold me. Over the course of my membership I have realized that I should have listened. Due to my regular travel schedule, I am a member here and at a different gym closer to my home, and it is night and day between the two. This gym, especially recently, becomes unusable after 2pm due to overcrowding, with every single machine or bench taken, and groups of teenagers just milling about doing nothing. I have, more times than I can count, left after just doing some cardio due to not finding any machines or benches available. I try to exclusively go in the morning now because of this issue. Also, I find the weekend hours to be quite inconvenient, but luckily I am usually using my other gym then. I would honestly rather pay more money and drive a little further (which I do for my other gym) for less crowds. I know there are people that read these reviews, so please listen to this: you are at capacity. It is time to pause accepting new members. It is a good thing I got a really cheap deal where I paid upfront, or I would be more upset about this. However, when my membership is up, I will be going elsewhere. Other than that, the facilities are fine. It would be a really solid gym if it had like 60-70% of the crowds it currently did. You get what you pay for.
