I had low expectations for the aquatic aerobics. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the intensity of the work out. Easy on the joints but REALLY impactful!

The classes at the YMCA are incredible and motivating. The staff is always friendly and my kids love going to childcare.

The aquatics director went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter was able to be a part of the swim lessons. She was prompt to respond as well. The instructors have all been so nice and patient. We have really enjoyed our experience here.

The facility is great but very poor communication between their staff and management about their policies. I rented the pool and got the lounge to use for my son's 9th birthday thinking that my party will get to use the pool and lounge for 2 hours, not getting the 2 hours split up. Plus, the lounge door couldn't lock so there was people coming and going through the lounge area while we were using it.It would've been nice to know that there was a limit for my guests (25) to use the pool for non-member who paid $250 to rent it and it wasn't close to the public. I could've use the $250 to pay for a $5 day pass per person and use the pool all day along with the gym.Definitely felt discriminated. All this happened the day of the event. No email nor their reception provided this information when I came in for an tour before booking. Overall, bad experience and a waste of money.

I appreciate the fact that there are different sports available all year long for children of all ages. My children have played Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball at the Y and I love that it keeps them active and they have the opportunity to make new friends. I myself have coached Volleyball the past two seasons and I came in knowing absolutely nothing, I was able to ask for guidance from the Sports coordinator and watch a variety of youtube videos. The refs have also been a great resource as the goal behind the sports program is to promote growth in mind, body, and spirit. YMCA Sports have given me the opportunity to share in a healthy and physical activity with my kids and that alone is a wonderful thing.

The staff are friendly, organized and professional. Very affordable, great value, and above all, the kids just love being there! All they talk about are the friends they make and how much fun they have in the swimming pool or on the basketball court. And they always ask how soon they can go back. Love the Bixby Y!

Location is primo for where I live. Love the fact it’s not crowded. Seems to be kept up pretty well. Always clean when I go…..it’s an old facility but hey it can be worse. Problem and it’s a major one for me….creepy staff! I’m there to work out (imagine that) and bothered each time I visit this location by the same old, creepy guy. Worse part HE WORKS THERE!! I made the mistake of speaking to him once in passing and now he’ll come over and stand while I’m working out and not leave. Really guy?? He creeps around there annoying women of all ages. Management doesn’t notice this??? We’re there to work out not be creeped on by some old man! You cannot sit in the break room without one of the Staff pulling up a chair…….? It’s a place to work out and get healthy not socialize. I’m not going there to make friends. It’s extremely uncomfortable and frankly I’m ready to go elsewhere.
