The bathroom is like a swamp it’s so flooded and filthy. The music! It’s blaring and gave me a migraine headache. Although I mentioned to the front desk that it is too loud they blankly stared at me then finally said, thank you letting me know.

In September I re-enrolled my son, and they charged me 36 dollars. A few days ago, I unregistered my daughter and yesterday they charged me $39 + $39 + $49. I just went to see what happened and they told me what the charge was. annual, ok but if I just registered my son and paid the $36 and assuming that is correct, why do they charge me the annual fee for my daughter if I already unregistered her a few days ago? The woman who helped me did it with a mocking laughsaying that nothing could be done, tomorrow I'm going to settle it with the bank, it seems unfair to me that they charge you when you've already unsubscribed.

Good location, machines and units are never out of service. Needs improvement in maintaining good housekeeping. No clutter but you know the restrooms aren’t being swept or mopped.

I like this location and staff. The place is unsanitary. I don’t know when the last time the bathrooms have been cleaned. The same stains, blood, dirt and grime have been on the bathroom floor for months. Showers are permanently overflown with sitting water in the middle of the floor.Every member cleans up after themselves though. I feel as though that’s the reason the equipment feels clean. I had to wipe down the tread mill I was on after I noticed boogers swiped along the side rails first thing in the morning.The equipment itself I feel it getting a little worse, a lot of traction and jumping of weights when it comes to the machines. I’ve had to memorize which ones do that n which ones don’t.I love this location and staff n want it to do better and thrive. I’m making this review because I care. Or else I’d probably give a two star rating. I hope this review gets to someone.

I enjoy my exercising experience. I feel the sense of respect of all people. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is a clean and safe facility. I have not been in a gym for over 3 years but I feel good of returning back to my gym exercising. I hope to regain my muscle strength and physical energy by my gym workouts.

I really enjoy this gym! I always feel safe and comfortable here. I love the Black Card amenities, especially the Total Body Enhancement and Tanning machines, I always begin and end my routine with them. I also really enjoy the Buena Park LaPalma location because it always feels more private and less packed like the other larger locations.

Great place to go if you live in East or West Oakland. I've been to both planet fitness on MacArthur Blvd. and on Market. Both are great fitness centers to workout. Clean, properly ventilated, and nice overall environment to workout. The patrons are always respectful, thoughtful and considerate of space and equipment. Check it out for yourself.

Things have changed since my first week or so here. My first day at this location, I said "try not to work too hard" as a friendly gesture and the female employee laughed and said "I'll try not to!" There was also a guy who was always smiling and he was very approachable. Nowadays, the staff has been anything but that. They look at you as if you're crazy when you say hi. They don't say bye back, and all you hear them say is "he said, she said" which is very off-putting. Overhearing employee conversation is one thing, and I don't mind that, but constantly hearing them talk about other people day after day (WHILE I'm signing in, mind you) is just distasteful. Ie, "guess what this person said" or "can you believe that person did that?"

I love Planet fitness!! They may not have pools or steam rooms and such! But you cant beat the Hydro massage beds! The total 10 min workout machines that also improve your complexion! And everything else that you need! And you get all the above for free when your a Black card member! Trust me! Being a black card member is worth it!! And with the Black card I can go to other gym's when I'm in those areas too!! And the people are great and very polite! They helped answer all my questions with Covid new rules. And let me know when the least amount of people area there!
