Club Pilates

I’d like to give zero stars, but I can’t. Club Pilates of Carmel on Zionsville Road clearly lacks empathy and uses poor business practices and judgment towards its members.I had an unexpected medical issue come up during a trial period they were promoting, which required a surgical procedure to repair. Due to my surgery and recovery, I paused my trial period’s last 2 sessions. Before I could return from recovery, I had another medical procedure and needed to extend my pause for a few additional months, still hoping I could return and use pilates to assist in my physical recovery. At some point during the pause I was advised by my surgeon to quit doing pilates all together. I reached out to Club Pilates staff and management to advise I could not return and needed to cancel my membership. I was told I could not cancel during the pause, that I had to re-activate my account and also pay additional monies including late fees before I could cancel.Their policy should definitely state that if a medical issue prevents a member from using services, especially during a trial period they are promoting to increase membership numbers, they should NOT be allowed to charge for future services an individual is unable to render, and they should definitely not be entitled to charge additional fees while a customer is attempting to cancel due to medical reasons.CP of Carmel, clearly lacks empathy, utilizes poor business practices and judgments, which will chase current and future customers away. I will be certain to let everyone know of my terrible experience with this company.

Think twice before you sign up. It is VERY difficult to cancel your subscription. I asked the front desk person to change my membership and she did not do it until I asked again. Their 30-day cancellation policy is a scam. It is 30 days from your next renewal date. For example, they charged me for a month on March 2. I cancelled on March 4 and will be charged again on April 2 and it will hopefully be canceled on May 2.

Incredibly disappointing billing and customer service experience. Overall lack of transparency and support by this organization!

I enjoyed the Pilates- clean studio, nice equipment. However, the policies of canceling were not made clear. I felt blindsided when I found out they expected me to pay another month when I was ready to cancel. Beware of unexpected hidden fees.

Today I went to Club Pilates Zionsville for an introductory class with members of my staff, an intern and another member of our organization. Natalie was our teacher and she went above and beyond to give us alternative movements, present to all levels and honor social distancing. Our intern has special needs and Natalie was incredibly accommodating, making her experience really amazing. Vanessa presented great info on the company at the end, explaining how to sign up for packages and cleaning procedures. In all it was an incredibly positive experience and we will certainly go back! #clubpilates #zionsvillechamber
