My good friend, Dan, had recommended that I try OTF last summer. After several months of constant encouragement, I decided to give it a shot. At that time, I probably weighed 195 pounds and was at 26%-27% body fat. I have a history of knee and back issues and was in a space where I needed something different in my life for exercise and so I was ready to do this. At my first class, the Studio Assistant asked me about my goals...I told her that I wanted to get "shredded". Coach Matt thought that was hilarious and so dubbed me "Shredder" and the nickname stuck for a long time. After my first class, I knew OTF was for me because I was absolutely gassed, sore, burned out...but felt exhilarated....and most importantly, not injured. Today I completed my 200th class and am happy to report that I am now 166 pounds and 14.1% body fat. I have also gained muscle mass. Here's the deal, OTF is a total body workout. The rowing, treadmill, and weight floor provide unique challenges that keep the workouts interesting every day. What really sold me was their weight lifting classes which provide additional opportunities to get stronger and lift heavier in order to build lean muscle. Also, I hate the treadmill in general...but OTF provides "just enough" treadmill for me and you always have the option to power walk which can also be super challenging. But the biggest draw is the people. The coaches: Matt, Kaity, Michelle, Scotty, Laura, Caitlin, Sydney, and Jen provide top notch encouragement and push you to your limits because they believe fully in your ability to get stronger every day. The studio assistants engage you with a smile and they learn your name immediately and welcome you each time you come in. This is not your typical "gym" environment...the community and other participants give you fist bumps and high fives and encourage you to do your best. The people are what make this place the most unique workout space I've ever encountered. I am 44 years old and I am now in the best shape of my life. I feel happy, healthy, strong, and look forward to continuing my growth and development with the OTF crew and community steadfastly in my corner. It has truly been life changing and I'm incredibly proud of myself for making the choice to join this amazing place. Push yourself....it's worth it! #morelife

All fitness clubs have equipment. What makes OTF great are the coaches. I have gone to OTF is different states and one Canadian province and I think OTF Carmel IN coaches are even more special - their encouragement is so contagious even other members catch it. A great community for ALL fitness levels.

I’ve always been the person who lacks the motivation to go to the gym. But that all changed when I joined Orange Theory last August. I love coming to the classes. The coaches are so motivating and they make the classes fun to go to. They also constantly push you to be better which I know I need, even if I don’t always want it.

I joined Orangetheory Fitness a little over six years ago and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I signed up at the Carmel location and quickly felt like part of the family. The sales associates are friendly and helpful, the coaches are supportive and knowledgeable, and the members help hold you accountable. My fitness journey has taken me to multiple studios and through many roles at OTF but the Carmel studio will always hold a special place in my heart. Keep up the great work!

OrangeTheory Fitness-Carmel has been a game changer for my fitness. I am a former collegiate athlete and had gotten out of shape. In the first 3 months of being a member I went from 2 workouts a week to 4-5 because I love it! You get to push yourself—whatever you can do that day. I feel so much more fit, more healthy—and did I mention that it’s fun too with great coaches!

I've been a OTF member at Carmel since 2020 and have visited other studios across the US and the UK. From my experience, the Carmel studio is a special location. The coaches are personally dedicated to making you a better athlete.I would encourage first timers who might the workout is hard to stick with it. We ALL modified workouts when we first started, or worked through an injury or just was not able to give 100%. What's important is that you showed up!

I started coming to orange theory here a few months ago and it has completely changed my perspective on exercising. I’ve always been active, but have struggles to push myself with my workouts because of low motivation. This orange theory studio has the best coaches. They try to get to know everyone and always make you feel motivated and push you to do the best you can on a given day (without pushing you too hard). They also are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable as far as alternative exercises for those with limitations and they’re always aware of those with cardiac conditions. The staff are also extremely welcoming and try to get to know everyone. They remember the small things and always follow up on them. I love it here and wish I could bring all the coaches and staff with me when I move away in the next few months. They made me feel welcome when I’d never worked out in a big group before and the transition to group fitness classes was seamless. It’s an incredibly welcoming space and I’d recommend to anyone at any level of fitness. Thanks OTF Carmel :)
