24 Hour Fitness

The gym is poorly maintained. Not open 24 hours needs to open at 3 or 4 not five I have to travel away from home to get in the gym early and that is a problem. Much older equipment than Lakewood. Carson should not have the junk of equipment nor dirty equipment it is an absolute shame!

Half the treadmills are broken and have been for months. Staff have been alerted but have done nothing. Men's bathroom is covered in piss and smells terrible. I've been to dozens of gyms in half a dozen states and this is one of the worst maintained ones I've ever been to.

Steam room smells moldy, musty, and disgusting right as you open the door. This is possibly the worst location that exists.

Decent gym. All needed equipment, could be cleaner but not dirty. Gym members at this location feel entitled, weights are not put back anywhere. But ok gym all in all

Pros: Great gym equipment, everyone keeps to themselves. Sauna and Steamroom and clean showers.Cons: Not really a 24hr run facility. They close at 8p during the week and 5pm on weekends. Absolutely no reason for that to happen.

Why does this gym still operate under the 24 hour business logo? They should change the name to 16 hour fitness and change their monthly fees. Since covid this gym has NEVER been open 24 hours as advertised. What about the members who work out earlyA. M? This gym has cut back their hours to save expenses but yet still charge me full price. Makes no sense!

Recently cancelled membership here. Suggest that people rethink joining 24 fitness. The gym always super overcrowded. Weights are limited and you are constantly waiting for people to finish their endless routines. People have no gym courtesy/ethics here. When a gym has only single sets of weights and single pieces of equipment its very frustrating when people remain on them for over 6 sets. This prolongs your workouts. The equipment is also not serviced regularly. Gym equipment is old and worn out. I should just go home and make my own equipment from rocks and pieces of steel. No money seems to go into maintaining the facility, equipment etc. No place to stretch. One of the female managers there that I interfaced with was very rude and unprofessional. You'd be better off taking your business elsewhere or you'll be locked in a contract that you can't get out of. Read the fine print. Btw the mens bathrooms are always disgusting and smells like a porter potty. It seems gym owners these days just want to take your money and sit back and watch you try with whats been provided. This equipment has probably been here for years and will remain unless its falling apart. I'm sure there's much more improved equipment on the market these days. Makes no sense with all these customers no money is spent in upgrading equipment much less servicing them.
