iGYM

Through my insirance I get access to multiple gyms. I definitely favor this one. Clean and functional equipment, very clean locker room/restroom, friendly and helpful staff. It also holds the same small town feel I miss from my little hometown gym. Even when I earn my personal trainer certificate, no matter where I work, I will still choose to workout here.

I love this gym! It's my second home and I feel comfortable working out here and having a gym family everytime I visit! Other members support each other and become a close-knit group.

I acquired several gym memberships through my insurance as a part of the Active & Fit program. Because of this I'm able to compare various local gyms. I have now been living in Cedar Rapids for 5 months. I am 100% convinced that iGym (especially Edgewood) is the superior choice out of the 3 gym brands I frequent in this area. First off, sign-up was a breeze and it included 3 iGym locations. The property is extremely clean, machines are appropriately spaced apart, there's a huge room for group classes. There are disinfecting buckets all over the place for easy access, plenty of lockers in the bathroom as well as clean showers. I don't watch the TVs but there are some in front of the cardio machines. The iGym equipment includes everything from your run-of-the-mill types to a few that not all gyms carry. The equipment is also very well-maintained. If it's out-of-order one day you can expect it to be back in function the next day. I can honestly say that this is my favorite gym. They're always open so I can come work out here before the sun comes up or if I get off work late. Don't mind the other places that try to sell you with their bright colors or fancy gimmicks. If you want a good workout, COME HERE!

Trainer, Rachel, is wonderful! She has great suggestions as to what I can do when alternatives are needed. The group classes are enjoyable, too!

The Igym on Edgewood is a fantastic workout facility! Having had some joint replacements, it fits my situation perfectly. It is never overcrowded, with an abundance of high quality equipment. You never have to wait on a machine,or weights. Staff and members are very friendly, it is kept quite clean, and there is a feeling of healthiness when you are there. You have easy access any time of day or night with plenty of parking. Whether you are a serious lifter, or you just want some cardio to brighten your day it is the perfect place. I have met several new friends since joining. Check it out, and ENJOY!
