Girl up front always giving problems. This specific EŌS is the reason I’m canceling my membership. I don’t want to invest in people giving attitude refusing to allow me in without an updated photo

Injuries anyone? Come to the EōS Fitness in Chandler, if you’d like to suffer a serious or even fatal injury. Loose bolts are literally hanging out of a significant number of the machines in this dump. I’ve heard from other members that a member was seriously injured just this last week due to the complete lack of maintenance. I have voiced my concerns with staff over and over with no contact ever from management. I think it’s time to move on to a new gym. Join if you have a good injury attorney. I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, and sidenote, stay away from the water fountains. I wouldn’t let my dog drink the warm gross water out of them.

Almost all the machines are down, they’ve been down for over a month or longer for some. The ones that do work need maintenance. They clearly don’t keep up with regular maintenance, which should be done all the time for how busy this gym is. It’s hard to be able to get a good work out in when there’s no machines available or broken.

Overall, this is a decent gym but I’d gladly spend a few extra dollars for a gym that maintains their equipment. I think the cinema area is where they send equipment to die. It’s also super humid in the cinema room. That room used to be pretty full, especially weekends…now, understandably, it’s usually 1 or 2 people in there.I do enjoy the cinema area for fasted daily cardio but this location has 2 broken stairclimbers a 3 broken bikes in the cinema. They’ve been broken at least since March and it’s now mid August.

I would be careful when signing up for a membership here. I joined back in January. After a couple classes, I emailed them to cancel my membership before the free trial was up. They confirmed the cancellation. There was a second account created in my name for whatever reason (incorrect name spelling/birthday) and that account was not cancelled, but they continued to charge me for 8 months (the reason I didn't realize at first was because both my husband and son have a membership, so I didn't realize that we were getting an extra charge) . I have been trying to resolve it all week with no success. Today the manager, Brooke, just kept repeating the same thing over and over in a monotone voice, no matter what I said. After speaking to a few people at EOS, and reading some of the other reviews, I believe the second account (and not cancelling it) was intentionally dishonest. Just be careful when you sign up.

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS GYM!!The staff here manipulated and pressured me into signing for a personal training contract when I said that I could not afford it. They said that they could offer a trial period and could continue if I wanted to. I repeatedly said that I couldn’t commit to anything and they claimed that they understood.Imagine my shock when I come in and get told that I signed up for a long term contract that was 88 dollars more than what I thought that I had signed up for ($10/month).When I tried to cancel, they instead pressured me to sign up for a student plan. They said that they couldn’t cancel because it was a contract.I have weekly counseling appointments that I have to pay for (with financial aid) and now won’t be able to afford them because of this.I tried to come in the other day to cancel and was bullied by the Physical Trainer Manager who said that I “was a grown-*** man” who “should have read the contract more carefully” which I explained was never shown to me. They don’t show you what you are signing up for and don’t read it either. They count on your trust and ignorance. They were incredibly antagonistic and hostile. Even when I first came in.This is clearly their business model from the many complaints that can be found on their Better Business Bureau Page.DO NOT GO TO THIS GYMEdit: “Today” to “the other day” had to repost this review as the one that I posted the other day was hidden for some reason

Customer service came through. I had made an accounting error with a refund that I was due from EoS so I came on here and left a harsh review. However I was wrong.Soon after, the manager, Brooke I believe, called and very graciously and calmly helped me understand that I did actually receive the entire refund I was due and provided proof and statements. She deserves recognition for responding directly to my complaint with respect. As my original review was harsh, it's only fair I come on here and leave a positive review for the gym as they came through with exactly what I requested from their customer service as well as took the time to reach out to me directly. As far as reviewing the gym itself, it is very affordable and likely has all the equiptment you need. That coupled with the excellent customer service makes it a gym that is a good choice dependent on your needs. My only feedback is I do not like being locked into a contract. I would rather pay slightly more monthly and have the freedom to cancel any time. Can EoS begin offering that option?

I joined Mountainside Fitness and was looking to use this gym because it’s 24 hours. The equipment is falling apart. All the rubber handles are worn down and torn up and the equipment is not greased properly. I’ve worked at gym’s and this entire place feels dirty and gross. Nobody puts their weights back and the machines are never wiped down. Not to mention it’s always packed. 4AM or 11PM all the benches are full and they are held up by groups of three that spend 20min on each machine. The one thing they are good at is requiring a 30 day notice when canceling so they can charge you one more month when you had gotten charged a few days prior. I’ve just had enough of how frustrating this place is. And yes, the sleazy small print is probably on a contract but I can quit a job in two weeks. Somehow I gotta give this place a thirty day notice like they’re gonna head hunt a replacement.

I've been training at this location 6 days a week since 2021. I go in at 230AM and train for 4 hours. I'm well acquainted with most of the overnight and morning staff. Bella in particular is truly fantastic. She's always in a great mood and really cheerful. It's nice to be greeted by someone so happy first thing in the morning. On all the nights she works, the towel service and the fridge is always stocked. She goes above and beyond with any concerns and it's one of the reasons I come in at those hours. She's fantastic at her job and hence I felt compelled to leave this review.Abel is great when it comes to addressing any concerns with equipment. Even when it takes a while to get something fixed he makes sure to keep me updated.
