Great gym. They make fantastic use of the space. Creative and on-grade setting and a friendly, supportive group of climbers every day. Always make time to stop in when I’m in the area.

My job sends me all across North America. I've been to dozens of climbing gyms in the past year. These are the most interesting and fun bouldering routes I've climbed. 10/10. Definitely worth checking out.

A good crowd and accurate grades for the bouldering. I appreciate the use of the limited space they have.

Amazing gym, amazing community, and a very kind and helpful staff. Everyone here loves what they do and are willing to provide tips if you ask nicely. Never had a bad time

Excellent pebbles. Was passing through from Boone NC and had to check out the stone-slappin goodness while I had some time. Ratings are set pretty steep but just don't climb for the number. Feeling pumped and satisfied.

Overall I do appreciate the layout of the gym. They're out seem to be set pretty fairly. I wouldn't mind if they got to reset a little more often but my big quarrel that leaves me at 3 stars is the fees. $55 a month isn't a bad cost for a membership and I was a little hesitant with the extra start-up fee that came along with it. But now two months later after my workload has gotten heavier coming to the realization that I won't be able to climb as often as I want to, when I went to cancel my membership I was informed that there would also be a $30 cancellation fee for canceling before you had had a membership for a year. That seems like pretty sleazy business tactics to me.Edit: they were incredibly understanding when I explained my case.I'm sorry for being so abrasive earlier. These are good people and it's a great gym.

3.5 Compared to other gyms in other states its super small, so much that routes are basically on top of each other and the starts are super low. Parking is also hard. But points to them because they are like 1 of 2 indoor rock climbing gym in Charleston and the surrounding area! - ps: thanks for the response! You get extra points for that!

Only place to climb in Charleston. I mean I guess James Island has a wall, but why bother when Coastal Climbing is around? Super friendly staff and people that climb here
