I love this gym. It's a perfect mix of down-to-earth and nice. There's always such an upbeat vibe here. Generally fixes my mood if I feel beat down 😹 it gets pretty busy in the early evenings, which can feel overwhelming....but I can always find some machine that's open. AND I love the awesome classes!! …

I’ve had a great time at this gym so far. Love having access to an outdoor pool. The classes have been great. I have a weird schedule so they don’t always align. Again I go at weird times so it’s never super busy. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. Feels sooooooo much nicer than the LA Fitness I used to go to. Very clean and I’ve never had any sort of issues.

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years. Honestly, half the people at the front desk seem like zombies or mean mug you, especially in the morning. The afternoon crew seem much more pleasant. The manager seems pleasant as well when I’ve had direct interactions, but maybe he has some RBF going on. This morning was sort of the last straw for me. When entering this morning around 7am (August 10 2023), the young blonde pony-tailed woman at the front desk didn’t even look up from her phone and she had AirPods in. I know it’s early, but it’s a pretty icky feeling when I nod or smile when checking in and I get a blank stare back or completely ignored. Sorry you’re so busy texting and listening to a podcast at work to make some eye contact lol.

Great luxury gym with good amenities. Everything is very clean and modern. Towel service is great and the rooftop pool is sweet.

The whole pool situation is so awkward. Tiny lanes surrounded by chairs of people watching you swim laps while an old leather-y guy with a walkman blares his FM radio and coughs out a lung. Both pool rooms need music to drown out the awkward silence.

Great neighborhood gym. Clean and plenty of options and courses. Unless you tend to go to gym in the late evenings (this place closes early) You'll find something to enjoy here.

Best gym in the neighborhood. Always super clean and friendly staff. They do day passes and weekly passes for purchase if you want to try it out. It was super quick to sign up.

It's a good gym. But they have stuck with their COVID-era, shortened evening hours. Which means it's often crowded right up until close. Closes early in the evening three days per week. …

Decent gym, nice personnel, but the hours are ridiculous…. 7pm on the weekend?! Do better

It's a shame because this gym has the potential to be great but it falls far short.Problem one is the staff. They are quite frankly standoffish at best and surly as worst. I recently had one staff member chase me around the shower and peer into my shower stall with me naked (yes really) because it was close to closing time and he apparently really wanted to go home. The second issue is hours. The gym closes at 9pm on weekdays which is not standard practice for a big city gym. Every other gym in Lakeview pretty much is 24 hours or open until at least 10pm on weekdays. This gym shortened its hours during Covid and never went back to reasonable hours. The facilities could truly be great with the two pools, etc., but unfortunately the short hours and frequently unpleasant staff make this gym subpar.
