I visited the Hyde Park location and tried the 45 minute class. I loved the staff and studio, but decided that I prefer the longer class. 45 minutes was intense and fun, but too short for meMassive props to the staff for making me feel right at home!

Great classes and the coaches are so competent! Coach Jay is amazing! I like his energy and clarity in instructions. It can be challenging, but you can go at the pace you feel comfortable while pushing your limits as well. A wonderful way to work your cardio, endurance, strength in a single class.

Orangetheory Fitness in Hyde Park is a fantastic workout. The facility is located on the first floor of City Hyde Park, a building that also has a Whole Foods, Marshalls and other services. The coaches here really value your time and ensure that you meet your goals. They have the prime expertise, knowledge, and ability to motivate and guide you through the workouts. They also highlight any personalized attention or modifications provided to cater to different fitness levels. I am someone who modifies all of my workouts on the floor due to my knees. All of the staff here really make this truly an enjoyable experience. There is always a sense of positive energy when you walk in until you leave. This is the only OTF I have been to that doesn't cancel classes with low attendance. This is HUGE for someone like me who attends the latest classes in the evening. I really appreciate that they put the member's first during these situations. If you are looking for an intensive workout that engages you throughout the time you are there, look no further - OTF Hyde Park is your new home!

I have been a member since 2019 and I just love it. It is the first time that I have not regreted having a "gym" membership. The workout is fun and the staff at my studio is the best.

I had a really excellent first introductory class at Orange Theory Fitness in Hyde Park! I really like the dynamic nature of the workout, the fact that it combines multiple approaches to fitness and intensity, as well as the data monitoring aspect (heart rate, speeds, etc). If I had known about the fact that it combines running, weights, and rowing, I probably would have signed up long ago! I will definitely be signing up for a membership, even though I think I can only make one class per week given my schedule.- EDIT: after a year and a half at the Hyde Park OTF, I still love it!

It’s a gym. If your goal is to get a solid workout within 60 minutes, then this is your place to go. I find the $14 cancellation fee for pre booked classes to be particularly motivating to ensure that I make it to everyone class, but the classes I take are rarely full which means you’re likely to secure a spot. They’ll absolutely hype you up when you first start going so they can encourage you to remain a member. As long as you are satisfied with the quality of the workout, that’s generally all that matters - because once you have been a member for a long time they will not do anything to retain you (well, they do for some members, but it’s inconsistent). That means they’re likely to skip any milestones, achievements or birthdays for you - but you shouldn’t take it personal because it seems that they only celebrate new members anyway. All that matters is that you can celebrate you.As a member of this location for 4 years, I’ve seen a lot of faces come and go. There’s a high turnover of staff and coaches so if you don’t like someone, stick around for 6 months and they’ll probably be gone. I personally find that to be a plus. The facilities are clean and stocked, which is nice comparably speaking to other larger gyms in the area. I haven’t showered here before but the bathrooms seem to be well maintained. They recently added iPads to the rowers, which other studios in the area already had, so it’s nice that you can get the same workout information at this studio as their other locations (such as McCormick).

First time at this location and I’m impressed. Staff was great. Coach was great. Gym was clean. And the workout was great. Look forward to going back.

Came to visit this gym from out of town and to my surprise traffic and parking is hard to find in the area around the gym....got there 6 minutes late and was denied entry. Class was not full as only 1 side was in use. Staff didn't seem to care and was quick to charge me the $14 no show fee. Not sure why a $10 premium fee is added when you book this class. There's nothing premium about this OTF

Firstly OTF, concept of helping reach your body goals, stamina, strength are Amazing! I absolutely feel challenged every time I workout there. So far I’ve only been at the HydePark Location so I can only speak for that facility. The Billing is a whole other issue, the monthly cost is 199.00 a little steep… than your charged 14.00 dollars for every class you may miss, unless you bring a doctors note or excuse that staff seems is valid.I have/ had a billing issue wanting to change the date my monthly bill, I was told by staff that they could do it and it was not changed for 2 months which through my account off. We are in Covid and recovery not to mention if you miss s class during the colder months and or coughs or Covid I think that 14.00 should be excused. The front desk staff ranges with different workers there one young man there that is very customer service friendly and has a pleasant attitude. But I’ve had a couple unprofessional experiences with front desk staff. My opinion is that front desk staff needs better customer service! OTF is not an in expensive at all, and for the price that customers pay there should be better attitudes. Customer service should and could be better from front desk.

I like the structure of the workout. I used to do something similar in EU and it is the most effective workout strategy for not only loosing weight and toning your muscles, but also increasing your performance as an athlete. I'd highly recommend OT to my friend or family member. I love their professionalism! The cleanliness of this place is beyond expectations. If you were stopped from going to the gym by your fear of catching COVID, baby this place is for you ! Everything is cleaned after each person and between the workouts and at the end of the day. All the regulations are followed! Very positive atmosphere every time I go there! Very open with their policies! Love this place :-)
