it’s impossible to workout here without a staff telling you to move your mask up 1 cm, and apparently if they have to ask you 3 times your membership is suspended. never wasting my time coming back here honestly if they could keep this place closed legally they would while continuing to rob students of their college experience.

The Covid police are insane here. Just because the city sets rules doesn’t mean your staff and managers need to walk around waiting to scold people for having their mask down while drinking water or playing basketball. Find somewhere else in the area to get a membership where they’ll treat you like an adult.

Did a one month membership while I was in Chicago, and was really impressed. The staff is friendly, accessible and facilities are very user friendly and clean. It is safe, spacious, and the noise level is low. Thank you DePaul for providing a holistic environment that both families and singles can enjoy.

Gym itself is nicely kept, but the hours change way too frequently. There’s also a lot of very obscure and unnecessary rules. I remember there being “no spotters” signs. Covid or not, that’s an immediate health hazard and is a laughable attempt at promoting safety. Now, gym bags and jackets are not allowed next to you while you work out. No reason provided, they’re just not.One more note: they have a bad habit of removing machines that show any signs of wear and tear. These are usually the most frequently used machines. The problem is these machines are sometimes replaced with completely unrelated machines. Meanwhile there are probably 5-6 machines that nobody touches that have never been replaced. They seem to be more concerned with keeping a pretty gym than they are with having a useful one!

A terrific gym, spotlessly clean with a wonderful staff. My only 'complaint' is that, depending on the staff person at the time, the music is either deafeningly bad and loud, or reasonable and unobtrusive. Since virtually everyone is playing their own music through buds, I have to wonder why they have overhead speakers at all!

The Ray is a very nice gym. Lots of different things, 4 floors and a great view of the city from the 4th floor!

Really solid gym..I haven't been to any other gyms besides this one, but from what I've seen of others this seems like a step above the rest. Clean, which is great, and the staff are really friendly. There are also a ton of different machines and weights to use so that good.

This is DePaul University's gym and a few locals from the Lincoln Park area. The gym itself is very nice and all the equipment is newer and well kept. The large issue is if you go from 10am till 3pm or 6pm till 9pm you probably won't be …

Excellent facility with well maintained equipment. Love the views of the city from the track - especially in the winter months. Please add hand sanitizers on all levels.

This place has everything. A track with an amazing view, a large pool, an ample locker room, racquetball courts, basketball courts and enough equipment, machines and freeweights to keep a lot of people busy for a long time. The whole …
