More than 1/2 the people in the gym had no masks. There was no enforcement of the Chicago requirement requiring masks indoors. This is sad because Vaunt sent out an email this morning emphasizing the new rules put forth by the city. No excuse for this.

I canceled my membership end of July 2020. I was told that I had to physically come into the gym to cancel so that I could sign off on it. I did this. Since it was after the 15th of the month, I was told I would still need to pay for August 2020. I was okay with that and understood that it was their policy. September 1, 2020 comes along and my credit card is billed again $52.50. I called the manager "Maddie" multiple times throughout September and she kept telling me 5-7 days it would be removed. She took no responsibility for the charge and blamed it on their financial institution. It is now September 15 and I am furious because the charge has not been removed. I call Maddie back and she tells me it's probably MY bank that's taking so long. MY BANK!? After Multiple phone calls to Maddie the September 1st charged of $52.50 is removed September 18. October 1, 2020 comes along and I find that Vaunt took the money again from my credit card. This company is stealing from its customers and needs to be reported to the BBB. I called Maddie back Oct 1, 2020 and the young man on the phone told me she was late to work and wasn't in yet. I asked him if this was happening to everyone who attempts to cancel and he said "I can't speak of that." At this point I am exhausted. I called my bank and they were able to block Vaunt from stealing any more money in the future from my account and they will be disputing the Oct 1st 2020 charge for me. I refuse to go back and forth with Maddie again and her unprofessionalism. I can only imagine how much money this gym has stolen from people that canceled their membership and haven't bother to check their statements. If this happens to you please go through your bank and have them block the merchant as I did. I would not waste any time dealing with the manager.

Been a member for a few years paying for 2 accounts. $100 per month. I wanted to switch the person on the 2nd account because the person that was currently on it would no longer be able to go. Vaunt wanted $100 for the switch, saying it was a new member fee. I have been paying 2 accounts for 2 people and I paid the new member fees when they were opened. Why would I give them $100 just so they can take a picture of someone and add them in the system. The whole process takes 3 minutes tops. I could've not brought another person and reduced my accounts to 1, but because they tried to pull this now they have 0 accounts from me. Not handing over an extra $100 just because. I really liked the gym but they've been pushing the costs recently.
