Hello everyone,I had to stop by and leave a review for my Trainer Maryanne. I’ve been Training with her since the end of January of 23’, it’s been about 3 months and I’ve seen such a significant change In my body already. I have to say she’s gone above and beyond to help me get to this small significant change in my body, by holding me accountable teaching me how to eat right and get my body right. I only train with her 2x a week but she texts me throughout the weeks to make sure I’m doing my at home work outs. She’s helped me find a new love for working out and continues to push me outside my limits. Every workout with her she’s shown me knew workouts and even though I’m clueless and sometimes shy to try knew things she’s patient with me till I get the move down. Her motivation to see me do better is what motivates me to do more! But honestly all around the team here is amazing I see all the trainers involved and are very welcoming. For someone who hadn’t been in a gym environment in over years I felt so comfortable right away and welcomed. I’m so happy I chose this over going to a traditional gym. They have their own app that have meal menus for you to meal prep at home and workout to do from home as well. If you’re like me and have no idea about working out and meal prepping this is a great place to come to! Not only do they train you but you learn so much. If you are looking for a Trainer i highly recommend getting a consultation with Maryanne.

Katarina is the best trainer and human.I’ve never been super overweight, but I definitely gain some weight during Covid lockdown and was not in shape.In the beginning of this year, I wanted to get fit. Not so much for appearance, but I felt low energy and always tired. I want to feel healthy and confident again.I’m so happy I found Katarina. She’s seriously the best. Not only she’s so professional and will customize a training plan that truly works for you. She’s also the most positive, sweetest person I’ve ever met. Her uplifting spirit always makes you happy and look forward to training session.I’ve been only training for a few months. I’m seriously in the best shape in my entire life. I used to be so self conscious about wearing cropped shirt. Now I love them.Im in a good mental state too. Feeling confident and happy.It works better than seeing a psychologist. Seriously. I cannot thank her enough.

I honestly went in their because of the great reviews . I was very disappointed there are a bunch of kids that talk among themselves when training you . That’s was one of the biggest issues with me . Coming in and training I expected motivation and for someone to be monitoring me lifting weights . The last big problem I had was no one cleaning their machines even the trainers . I asked if anything was done different because of covid and there was no response . Other gyms prioritize cleaning after using machines but not this one . This is more of a social gym . I definitely don’t think anyone should join if your 30 and older .

Really awesome !! Love this place. If you ever come here to train, I highly recommend one of the trainers here, his name is Trestan, ask for him you won't regret it. If you want real results, and an overall awesome, and family like experience, then come here to self made training !!

I came to this place eager to just be able to get out of bed every day . Since I had a tumor and nerve removal I been off my foot for a very long time causing me to gain weight . I had enough. I explained to my new found trainer Kristen that I still have a mass/tumor in my foot (2nd one )so I would like to do stuff not putting pressure on my foot because even sitting doing nothing I have a moderate level of pain. She seemed to be on board and understanding.i paid to have a personal fitness plan and meal special for ME! I told her I do not eat fish and no dairy .... A week in to the month she FINALLY gave me a meal plan and guess what it had fish and dairy. She did not even bother to have MY personal meal plan for me and my diet. If that was not enough she made me ....excuse me she "encourage me" to do excessive pressure on my foot excersizes. I kept trying to say I can't do this I should not do this I don't even do this at home ... because it hurts putting PRESSURE on my tumor like lunges .. or going up amd Down a metal stand that is high up to my knees required to pressure my foot . I thought she would do like band or more weight on legs like lifts of some sort but nope. I only aggravated my pressure on my nerves I try to not make more drama since she did not seem to listen that it was not just I couldn't because I was out of shape but I could not because I don't want to burst the tumor mass. She refuses to give any refund .won't send me over my "contract" via email or mail or any thing . I talk to the number of this place said they would talk to owner and I try to get a response after my concern / complaint which sounded like they understood.....now no response. So I'm out hundreds of dollars got no where in my fitness goals but now I don't want to go to any personal trainer because that's alooooottt of money to loose . I can't believe it she seemed so sweet. I should have done my research. Quite frankly I want my money back and don't think that my best interest was truly the first priority.

I have stopped by here twice and was very impressed. I got to talk with two of the trainers and watched some boxing sparing.The staff was very nice and took me on a tour of the facility. I have yet to take a class but perhaps my new years resolution will be to try it out.From what I saw, they seem to have all types of physical training covered. The place is awesome and has all kinds of phrases on the walls.Highly recommend it.

Let me begin by saying I used to hate working out with a passion, I had no motivation and was always making excuses to avoid any kind of gym. And then I met Ben at a different training center. He is a wonderful motivator and gives the best work outs so naturally when he moved to this facility I followed! Self made is great. It’s clean, everyone is friendly and there’s no sense of judgment like at most other gyms. There’s a great array of equipment and trainers willing to help. If you really are serious about getting a great workout and having the push to reach your goals definitely check out Self Made Training Facility and ask for Ben!

I LOVE the Self Made Chino Hills Facility. Coming from another gym it was a breathe of fresh air walking into Self Made and everyone is extremely welcoming as well. The facility is VERY clean, kept up, and well done. It’s also a perk that the showers are really nice too! I love stepping into the gym every day and I love being apart of the Self Made Chino Hills family.
