Great place to start gymnastics. We have younger children that started gymnastics with TriStar in spring and by end of summer they are able to do many new things like cart wheels, flips and climbing ropes and other skills on equipment with assistance. I'm not looking to make my children competitive gymnasts but give them opportunities to try something and get some skills. I think the staff here do an excellent job and connect really well with the kids.Location is an old former warehouse so it is a bit remote and sketchy, building is dusty sometimes cold or hot because it is a huge space.

Silly mommy missed the park district sign up so we landed at Tri-Star and couldn’t be happier. My 2.5 year old loves her Saturday morning class filled with giant trampolines and circle time. We’ve been going for about 5 months now. And each month we receive a nice email asking if we wish to cancel. Otherwise your card is auto billed for another month. I highly recommend this gymnastics facility. Parking is easy and the owner, who coaches the class, cares deeply for the kids. Do check them out and if you struggle with their website, try a computer rather than your phone. We had some issues initially.

This location appeals to me much. We took our 4-year-old daughter to a different gym that was closer to our house and had nice recommendations, but she didn't enjoy it nearly as much. There, the youngsters spent the entire session practicing on a sort of gymnastics obstacle course (every class). However, Tri-Star handles all of the real equipment (just smaller versions for little people). She adores it! We enjoy watching. And she's making good progress. The instructors appear to understand not only gymnastics but also how to work with young children. It's very fantastic to watch kids who can't be more than 5 years older. They are accomplishing incredible feats! It comes highly recommended.

Our daughter has been at tri star a year. I can honestly say she has learned almost nothing. She said her coaches don’t pay attention to her and act like they don’t like her, we suspect it’s because she is transgender. She has been injured twice, once on concussion watch and the coach never even notified us. We paid for the summer term and after yet another issue after we only attended 1 class in the session they refuse any refund.Go somewhere else.

I enjoyed our visits here for several birthday parties. It was clean, welcoming and the staff seemed very friendly and organized.

If your kids are driving you crazy on Saturday afternoon, take them to the open gym. It is only $5 for an hour. Right now it is at 3:30, but check their site because it changes!

I really like this place. We had our 4 year old daughter at a different gym that was closer to our house which also has good reviews, but will didn't like it anywhere near as much. There, they basically had the kids working a gymnastics obstacle course of sorts the entire class (every class). But here at Tri-Star, they do all the real equipment (just smaller versions for little people). She loves it! We love watching. And she is making progress quickly. The instructors seem to not just know gymnastics, but also how to work with young kids. Watching kids that can't be much more than 5 years older, is truly amazing. They are doing incredible things! Highly recommended.

Very big space, plenty of equipment for athletes of all ages, rather reasonable prices all things considered. Focus is on functional instead of fancy, but that is a positive.

Large gymnastics arena with tons of options and things to bounce on. Have a family play time 12-1 most Monday- Thursday (check the website). Had a blast with my 1 & 3 year old. Not wheelchair/ stroller accessible from street entrance I used.

I go to tri star and the gym has a very clean, hard working, and friendly environment. It is very opening for new comers and the coaches are chosen well. All of the coaches give helpful tips while being nice. Overall this is a great gym, with lots of space and I recommend it for others.
