This was my second time at annex yoga studio! Such a great experience! Very helpful with making sure you’re doing the poses the right way, so you can get the most out of your practice! Great music and vibe in the whole place! These instructors really know what they are doing and care about you! Highly recommend!

Amazing downtown space for power yoga with knowledgeable instructors and a passionate owner. I’ve been practicing at this location for years and am thrilled Mina is continuing classes here as Annex Yoga. Not only have I gained physical and mental strength through my regular practice here, I’ve gained a welcoming and friendly community!Insider tip: Don’t be spooked by downtown parking - I can usually find a spot right out front on Shillito place.

I have been practicing in the Annex Yoga Studio space since 2013. Though under a new name and "new" management (manager previously taught under the old name) it remains the same welcoming environment that provides yogis with great instructors and a variety of high quality classes. Beyond providing an inclusive and calming space to practice I love what the studio does to foster a sense of community. From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like family. Instructors take the time to get to know their students often staying well after class to help students with challenging poses. They encourage interaction outside of the studio and provide workshops and other community building activities (potlucks, movie night, etc.) throughout the year. There may even be cake after class from time to time! Would highly recommend to anybody at any level looking to begin or expand their yoga practice.

I have been associated with this studio for almost a year and half now. The growth that I have seen my practice has been amazing. When I just moved to Cincinnati, I made amazing friends here. Teachers here are awesome and the feel of a tight community is unmatchable.

If I could give this studio more than 5 stars, I would! I highly recommend this studio and their amazing teachers. By far the BEST yoga flows, teachers and community I have ever experienced. The yoga style is fit for all levels - I appreciated the open and accessible sequences when I first joined, it was not intimidating at all. I also appreciated how the teachers work-shopped and broke down more advanced postures as I progressed through my practice. The teachers are fantastic - I recommend all of them, but if it's your first class definitely try Mina's Friday 6pm class. She is the studio owner and puts a lot of heart and soul into her class. Allison B's classes are also fantastic - creative flows and amazing music. Alison A's classes are also lovely with great music! The community is one of a kind. Teachers learn your name, tailor the class to YOUR needs, and love to spend time with you outside of class as well. I was new to Cincinnati and this studio became my second home.Give it a try, you won't regret it!!

Loved attending this studio/Mina’s classes when I lived in Cincinnati! I went in knowing very little about proper yoga form. During my year attending the studio, I learned form and got a great workout each class. Having moved, I’m still looking for a class/studio that balances teaching with power yoga flow like this one does. Definitely recommended to most anyone looking to do yoga in Cincinnati!

I've been going to this location for over 1 year. The name recently changed to annex yoga, but the studio manager and teachers remain the same. Great place to practice, with a welcoming space and instructors. I usually practice on days with Mina, Gene or Allison and all are amazing. The instructors do a great job of bringing variety to each class and I learn something new each week.

I love Annex yoga. I am a mechanic, and had never done yoga before when I started coming to Mina's classes several years ago. I've kept coming back because all of the classes, instructors, and fellow students are wonderful. I cannot recommend Annex Yoga enough. Whatever your background or skill level, you will be welcomed and challenged at this studio.
