Anytime Fitness

I was signed up to the Gym on Ceder Rd...it was a six week challenge I told Jake I could not afford the $500 for that program he signed me up for something different which was a bi-weekly payment of $50...I realized when I was Quentined in another county that my account was being debted every week not what we discussed or what I agreed to...I went to the gym Jake had been 'transferred" I spoke with Kenny he was not trying to work with me to receive my money back I called the corporate office and was told to contact my bank which I did and disputed the changes because Kenny's only solution was the correct plan like I would trust them again with my debit card...now almost 2 yrs later this debt has been put on my credit report with out so much as a phone call or letter...RUN DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE (at least be very cautious). I actually had no issues with the club and enjoyed working out when I was home as I am a college student. However that all changed once I attempted to get a membership just for the summer. I was told I was entering into a 3 month contract for the summer. Following the last month I told the club I wanted to come back but I had to cancel my membership until I returned from school they told me I could freeze it and not be charged, then unfreeze it when I returned. But I continued to be charged and I made numerous calls to the club and was told that the had frozen it again and I shouldn't be charged anymore. But again I continued to be charged. I had gotten a new card to stop the charges and once I returned home I went to the club and was informed that I had entered into a 12 month contract which was never brought to my attention even after several phone calls. I believe the club knowingly entered me into this contract even though I never requested it and they knew I was a student so why would I sign a 12 month contract if I'm hundreds of miles away for most of the year. Now they sent a collection agency after me and say I owe over $1,600 which is utterly ridiculous (I don't even know where that number is coming from as I was only paying $20 a month to begin with). I would also like to note that my friend from my school did the same thing however paid straight up for the summer in cash and had no problems, so this club really decided to screw me on this.

Best gym I've ever been a member at not only is it 24 hours is never over crowded the are kind and friendly

Great experience at this gym. Everybody is nice (Staff and other people). Gym and bathroom/shower is clean. Gym has everything you may need, including a boxing bag and studio room for stretches etc.

Have worked out at this gym a hand full of times and have nothing but good things to say! Love all the equipment and have gotten great pumps! The atmosphere is great and the staff is all very friendly and very very helpful!

This gym is way more than just four walls! It doesn’t have the most equipment in the area, but it definitely has the most guidance from the app which is basically a virtual trainer to getting to meet with a trainer every month to the Evolt scanner which is a medical grade scale. Best value in town.

Amazing place, with amazing Trainers. I lost over 50lbs. After the weight loss I began to powerlift and with help of the training staff they helped me add 250lbs to my bench press. I can’t say enough about this place. It’s more than a gym they are family to me!

Really great gym with good management and trainers who know what they're doing. Good mix of cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. Almost never too crowded.

Aidan, I don’t go to the gym much but since you have taken over as the manager of this location, your hard work is evident. Things are getting fixed (equipment, leak in women’s bathroom). I have noticed that the dumbbells are put away and not laying all over the place. There is hand sanitizer in the dispensers (very important). You are a friendly manager and receptive to client concerns which is great. Things are moving in the right direction. Thanks!

Same situation as many of the other reviewers. Nasty dirty club, trainers not professional, cancelled numerous times but they keep taking my money!! We all need to file a class action lawsuit! I belonged to Anytime Fitness in Independence KY and it was a GREAT experience. Unlike this nightmare!!!Adding this.... everyone should go to Anytime Fitness site, contact us. Then they can communicate with the parent company. I am giving all kinds of information about this dirty nasty place, and also telling them about the con artists who are taking our money!!I have obtained an attorney and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will post this when I receive the email confirmation.
