I trained for seven years with this instructor 12 years ago and just got the chance to go back and it's even better.Growing up in the school helped me so much from when I started at 11 to when I left for college at 18. It was my second home and all of the students that I trained and have known many of them are still there because of Mr Coppock. His skill and commitment to his art is incredible. I truly consider Mr Coppock one of the martial art gems of Colorado. You couldn't ask for more hard-working, genuine, and knowledgeable instructor.

I left AKKS about 12 years ago, and have recently come back because there's no one else I'd rather be taught by then Mister Coppock. He's a dedicated instructor who will go above and beyond to help improve his students and help them progress in this art form. This is a very welcoming place, with a very positive atmosphere. I'm glad I was able to come back with open arms and begin my journey once more. I recommend and will continue to recommend people to American Kenpo Karate School.

My wife and I have been training under Mr. Coppock for about 2 years now. My wife was apprehensive at first but with patience and skill from Mr. Coppock my wife is confident. We love coming here. the people here are our extended family. Mr. Coppock is a world class competitor and has real world experience in self defense application. We are blessed to have found this school and we both look forward to earning our black belts from Mr. Coppock. I highly recommend this school for the whole family!

As a new student it took very little time to see the family atmosphere of the school. If you are looking for purpose, exercise, a new challenge, or just want something fun to do AKKS is the right place.I am very excited to continue my new education with Mr. Coppack and the other instructors who freely give their time to help one improve ones self.Steve Glick

We have been going to AKKS for almost five years now and we love it! I would not take my kids anywhere else for martial arts. AKKS offers a fun, family-friendly learning experience and the owner/instructor, Dave Coppock, is extremely patient and knowledgeable. It is great to know you are learning from someone who holds multiple world championship titles and also teaches real-world, common sense techniques to help you learn good self defense. Whether you are looking at martial arts as a sport, for tournaments, or for self defense Mr. Coppock has you covered. He also teaches kick-boxing so I am able to get my workout in at the same place my kids are practicing karate.
