Personally, it is not worth the price for a membership, however it is a fun weekend activity with a day pass. Staff is friendly but I was disappointed that there wasn't live music on a Saturday afternoon. At that time it was not crowded, and that did make it more enjoyable. Great places for photos/videos.Bathrooms were clean, and have that luxury spa feel. Plenty of lockers and Dyson hairdryers are available!

Love the Congress in this place. I love the music and the energy. Facilities are off the charges. And the team treatment is always friendly

Not a fan of meat and potatoes? No worries, there’s some freshly chopped salad, and by freshly chopped salad I mean group workout classes and a massive rack of dumbbells for get your friggin pump on so you can look like piped up sorcerer of muscles at the pool.

The music at this gym is consistently loud through my noise-canceling headphones (I go anywhere from 9 am to 11 pm), which can be distracting. While I understand the energetic atmosphere during DJ hours, it would be nice to have a more moderate volume at other times, giving me the option to enjoy my own music. Apart from this, the gym offers great equipment, friendly staff, lots of workout rooms to choose from, and an overall nice vibe.

Great looking gym that is POORLY managed and has flawed policies to serve itself. Friendly advise, if you join do NOT hire a personal training package because sessions are non-refundable even if the coach that you chose (and was the sole reason for buying them) leaves the gym; and they are non-transferable to the independent coaches working there. Basically, they just take your money and keep it - are they that desperate financially??? WIFI is also terrible, and there’s an extremely smelly guy in there most mornings… yikes! In short, good looking gym, but don’t expect the service level to match. I guess it’s tough to properly manage the gym when the owners live in Germany and are probably not aware of these situations.

I had the opportunity to get a couple workouts here at John Reed, Dallas TX this past weekend. I had no idea what to expect, but after seeing pictures online I initially thought it might be too “uppity” for me. Checking in to the facility I met a front desk employee named John and he was great! He was so friendly and completely made me feel at ease and welcome. My first walkthrough of the gym I was truthfully shocked at how beautiful the gym was. I was blown away by the décor, art and furnishings around the gym. Truthfully the best looking and cleanest gym that I have ever been in.What I guess impressed me the most was the equipment. Not only did they design a beautiful gym, but they filled it full of serious lifting equipment. I’ve never had a chance to work out with “Gym 80” machines and free weights, but WOW was it incredible. The equipment was badass, and there was so much of it all around the gym. As I navigated room to room the equipment just kept coming and I found some very interesting and exciting things to use. I’m super jealous of all the members that get to use this gym daily as their home gym. Everything was working, everything was functioning smoothly, and everything was super clean.I finished up my second day here with full use of the locker rooms by taking a shower. Everything is first rate, clean and classy here at John Reed, Dallas TX. If you’re in the area visiting or live close enough to make this your home gym, run down there and get started. Their tag line of “finally a gym that doesn’t suck” is absolutely the case here.Thank you, John Reed Fitness, for the amazing experience. I cannot wait to go back!

Worst mismanaged place I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve never heard from charity until I wrote this 1 star review. She’s never on the floor. She seems to always be on her phone though trying to clean up the gyms image to potential members. 2 weeks into my membership I’ve see staff vaping on the floor. It’s filled with people feeling like they need to workout with their shirt off and constantly recording everything they’re doing, including YOU, whether you want them to or not; a true sign that someone is so boring they need to broadcast mundane rituals. Their was a guy that had a camera clipped to his visor and he walked in to the locker room. I guess instead of working out you need to be hyper vigilant and report everyone; exactly what I’m looking for in a gym. I spoke to the manager about it and he didn’t do any thing because management has to be there if it’s happening and this was on the weekend so anything goes apparently. This place never has towels available and the facility closed the other day because the A/C broke down. I drove up one day and the garage was closed because they were working on something so I had to park 3 blocks away. You’ll never receive a notice either. You’ll have to drive there and find out the hard way. I checked my spam as well and the gym never sent anything. Your cell service won’t work there because it’s like a basement. They want you to connect to the Wi-Fi so they can collect your data. This place has minimal mirrors so it’s tough to check your form. It’s also dark in there and sunlight is recommended when you are working out. No sauna, no pool no nothing and they want $100+ for a membership here. Not worth it. I prepaid my membership to get it for $85 a month and I’m trying to cancel but everyone is overseas and you won’t find them on the Better Business Bureau website either. I spoke with Charity “the manager” and I couldn’t have gotten worse customer service. It makes sense why the employees feel like they can vape and say whatever they want to members. I saw an employee vaping a few days ago. They are rude and told me I signed an agreement (even though I didn’t) and said “the company is not interested in giving refunds.” I’ve been going to gyms since I was 14 in the states and international and this is easily the worst managed one. Too bad the company isn’t interested in providing members with a positive experience. If someone isn’t happy they should have a right to leave and not have to pay. You want my money you should earn it every month. Steer clear of this place!
