Incredible club. Went with a friend to try it out and I absolutely loved it. It was my first time doing any sort of martial arts, but they were so kind and understanding in letting me go at my own pace. I feel that I was never rushed and always was encouraged to put my best self forward. I would absolutely recommend evolve training center to anyone looking for a high-quality + personable Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu experience!

We went to a few martial arts studios before landing at Evolve, and it really is a step above the others. Mark's kid's Muay Thai class is great, very fast and active, supportive and fun, and my kid always gets a good workout and leaves in a good mood. Very nice and friendly staff too, can't recommend this place more highly.

Evolve is an amazing place to train. Both the Muay Thai instruction by Coach Mark and the BJJ instruction by Coach J and Steve are top notch. Regardless if you are at day 1 or 1000 you'll be getting real attention on your training.Great training is what I was looking for, but what really kept me coming back is the strong community surrounding the gym. The staff and members are friendly and a great time to be around. Class wise, there's a great mix of younger and older folks at various levels. Additionally, Evolve will host holiday and monthly events where all members are invited at no extra charge. Whether or not you participate in the events (I recommend that you do), there's a sense of community around the gym that I haven't seen at other places.Additional notes:Cleanliness: The gym is well lit and mats are always cleaned. Never had an issue with cleanliness since I've been training here.Competition: Competition is offered for both BJJ and Muay Thai. As someone who hasn't competed yet, I can say that competitors and non-competitors are actually treated the same here.Facility: Two floors, lots of mat space for BJJ and Muay Thai. There is a full lifting area with a squat rack and more open for use.

I have had the great pleasure of doing Jiu Jitsu here at Evolve Training Center. I signed up for the two week trial at first and loved every moment of doing Jiu Jitsu. The coaches are phenomenal and experienced. I hope to continue doing Jiu Jitsu here and continue learning from everyone there.

Update 2:Classes are starting to get back to original size, good to see everyone enjoying the new facilities. BJJ and Muay Thai classes are very welcoming to any skill level. Strength Workouts challenging and if you're going to take the boxing for fitness make sure to get there early to grab a bag, the class is very popular and fills up quick!UPDATE:Times are a little crazy right now given the Shelter in place orders, BUT Evolve has done awesome things for their members. They pivoted their workouts and classes to provide them virtually for their members. I miss the atmosphere and staff, but I am still able to continue my workouts, maintain a somewhat regular routine PLUS was able to do a 4-week kettlebell class that really challenged me. If you are looking for a gym that can still offer you classes during this time, Evolve Training Center is a must, doesn't matter if you are in the Bay Area or anywhere else in the country. Do yourself a favor and get a hold of Evolve!_________________________________________________________________My workouts at the regular gyms were getting boring, and I decided to check out Evolve during a promotion which I got a few classes free. What started off as a trial run for me, is one of the Best decisions I've ever made! I was hooked immediately and has become a second home.Head coaches Jay (BJJ) and Mark (MuayThai) have made their gym a great and family friendly environment where all are welcome.Whatever you goal is: they have fitness, martial arts, kids Muay Thai and BJJ (BTW...family days are awesome- parents and kids take class together), women's self-defense, personal self-defense or yoga-this IS the place to go. No matter your skill level, new or old, Staff and coaches are all there to help reach your goals. The gym members are very welcoming.
