I have been swimming here for three years. I too have heard that the facility may close with the Essentia re-organization. PLEASE keep a fitness center with pool on your campus!!! It is most needed.

Just got off the phone with a receptionist who was the rudest in getting me an appointment. Told me I needed to fax a referral right away, or come in with a physical copy of it. I'm a college student and she informed me I couldn't get in because my billing address is my parent's house (i'm on their insurance). She said "well I can refer you to Essentia in the cities"... My insurance does not require a referral as well, so this was very frustrating. Not the best attitude for retaining patients.

Had a very nice conversation with a staff member who sounded like they would do everything in their power to clean up these problems. She genuinely sounded quite concerned. Very appreciative of the returned phone call. Overall the facilities are quite nice. ThanksPrevious Review:(Men in their 70s with bad comb overs having sex with the hot tub. Peeing in the the shower. Hawking loogies in the pool and or shower. That’s my experience. Don’t bring your kids!!)

I have been going to Miller Dwan Fitness & Therapy Services for almost 3 years. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be walking today. I sincerely hope the rumors I've been hearing about it closing aren't true. I would hate to lose this wonderful facility. There's no place like it in Duluth.

Nice workout facilities. Pool facilities (lap, hot tub, therapy pool) are the best in Duluth.

I love this gym, because of the variety and convenience but don't tell anyone because we don't want it getting overcrowded.
