This gym must be the smallest gym around. They are constantly changing the schedule; advertising specials with vendors constantly in the entrance way. Was asked if I wanted out of the contract by Jay after complaining and I happily accepted. However, my credit card was still charged and asked Jay why he stated, “you have to call cooperate for a refund”. All the classes you must sign in on their app. What about the seniors that don’t have the capability to download an app on their phone? Or people who can’t use their phones at work? Maybe they think the elderly will not attend classes? I would not recommend this as a gym, but a place to go if you just want to take classes.Teresa P.

I had been a member since last September and had come into an issue with a few things in regards to billing and the gym itself. I had learned that Brendan T. took over being the manager and he was an absolute breath of fresh air and helped resolve all my problems stemming from the last manager. Wonderful person to deal with and he accepted my issues as his own and saw it through and was 100% professional all around. Great manager and great replacement.

Extremely disgusting customer service by management. Very unfortunate at such a nice clean gym. I was told over the phone I needed to go to the gym to cancel which wasn’t an issue at all. I was also told it was too far in the month to waive the monthly charge but canceling would definitely stop the renewal fee. Completely understandable. I noticed $105 missing from my account a few days later and it was from crunch. I was still charged the renewal fee. Upon contacting the gym I was told my membership was never canceled. After being asked when I came in to cancel & who helped me I was told my membership was never canceled because it wasn’t processed properly by the individual who helped me the day I came in. Their system record only showed that I scanned in my key card as if for a regular gym visit. I went in & canceled on 12/24 but my cancellation was not processed until 12/27 when I called after noticing the charge. We are all human so I’m sure it was an honest mistake on her part & I simply asked for a refund of the overcharged amount due to it being an employee error. After being transferred to the gym manager I was denied the refund and told it was my fault for coming in too close to the payment date. I corrected him and explained that I was just told that my membership was for sure never processed for cancellation. I was being lied to and blamed so I asked to speak to corporate. The first response to that request was “we don’t usually contact corporate for small amounts of money like that” & then “nobody has ever asked for the corporate number.” After waiting for him to “find the number” I was given a franchiser phone number that specifically states it isn’t for customer support in the prerecorded intro message. I found it very interesting that the gym manager could not provide me with a customer support contact. Then after calling the manager back I was told I needed to contact ABC financial. I called ABC only to be told that I was misinformed by the gym manager and that this was a matter that needed to be handled by the gym because they have no control over it. I called crunch again & I was told I would be contacted by corporate that day. Here we are 2 weeks later and I have yet to be contacted. Fortunately, debit charges can be disputed at the bank.
