Planet Fitness

I love this gym and love working out here and will continue to work out here! This is the only location (somerset) that has the most “not so nice” workers! Ive been to many planet fitness around mass(south dartmouth, both fall river location, worcester and puerto rico) and this is the only location that the workers pick and choose on who to greet on the way out! Idk if its part of their job or not but every planet fitness i go to they greet me on the way in and out! Yes here they greet me on my way in but im sure its because i was to go to the front desk to badge in, but on the way out i noticed they see me n look away and act like they didnt see me just to not greet me including the mangers which i dont really care, at the end of the day i pay my membership and willl continue going there but itd he nice if they treated everyone the same! Ps the ONLY worker who actually greets Me on the way in and out is the guy with the afro! But yeah just wanted to put it out there n i hope they all read this, im sure u know who i am and dont bother greeting me on the way in if you aren’t gona do it on the way out! Andd iknow we gotta wear masks and i respect it but iknow pulling it down for about 10 seconds to breathe wont hurt! Their quick to b scavenging people who put their masks down to catch their breath.

Going back to the gym was a fairly painless transition with social distancing still in place on certain equipment. The employees at the desk were very helpful on the new standards. The most difficult thing was they changed the password for the Wi-fi.

I was charge for the months the gym was closed due to corona and my aunt that signed up with me on the same day was NOT .. i Asked the manager Josh for help and was blown off and was super loud about how it was my fault because I didn’t have the money in the bank ... but I did... I was just charged all at once and was charged late fees for every month also !!!! I have proof of the money being there and even so I got charged hundreds of dollars for nothing considering no one else was charged while the club was CLOSED . I was blown off and ended up having the teller at my bank call for me to cancel because he wouldn’t cancel either ... he also gave the bank tells a hard time . And I have to cancel my card with my bank and wait for a new one ! I was never able to get ahold of anyone at “corporate” because there is none . Every planet fitness is individually owned so this review is for the owner since I got no help at your planet fitness location and still paid them money that no one else had to pay ... And I had to sign up some where different .** Response to planet fitness’ reply — payments were NOT frozen ! That’s a lie I have my bank statements and my receipt from paying after I went in ! I also have a print out the manager Josh gave me !

My favorite gym of all time. Very clean and amazing staffs!

I only go there because the hours are a little better than WOW. Yes, it is clean but the equipment is not up to par and there aren't enough machines for certain exercises. As far as some of the reviews that say the staff is friendly, well I wouldn't go that far. They're okay, but that's about it. When gyms are allowed to open 24 hours, then I'm going back to WOW. By the way, those plastic flag signs at the cleaning stations are a hazard. Occasionally they slide down the pole that they're on and the pointed edge becomes dangerous enough to do eye damage. Please take care of that.

I've been a member of this gym for more then 2 years and have recently been going frequently for the last three months. I usually go in the morning, staff is great in the morning. never gave me any problems. I recently went in the afternoon and one staff member was extremely rude and has been to multiple members. Was told I was walking around without a mask for 5 minutes when it was false information. I was drinking water and was approached when I had my mask on to keep it on this gentleman was rude and I then canceled my membership right on the spot. Also there was people so close to each other working out I thought there was guidelines for people to stay 6 feet part? I'm also fully vaccinated and get tested twice a week I work at a college. no employee should be rude to customer like that. Word of advice if you Dont like your job quit 🤦‍♂️

I have been in the afternoon/ evening time and it's busy but not over crowded. Spacious GYM with plenty of options for you to work out. Kept clean and several TVs if you're interested in catching a show while getting some cardio in.At one time they had a "All in one work out" Machine which was great if you're looking to be in one area and target exactly what you want. It was for Black card members only which was a nice little benefit because it was like your own personal trainer.Equipment stays updated, looking new and plenty of cleaning stations.

Its a planet fitness. Having said that, i think this was my favourite one
