It’s been a few years since I went to a yoga studio and wanted to get back into it. I was a little nervous because it’s been so long but TCY made me feel comfortable and welcome from the second I walked in. I’ve only done a few classes so far and I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the instructors. Every teacher has run their classes different making each class and experience different. They clearly take pride in their practice and are always trying to learn more from what I can tell. If you are new or highly experience I highly recommended. It should be stated usually parking is super easy but other time it’s a little wonky depending on local events. Also mats are included in the class if you do not have one!

Our favorite studio! Highly recommend taking class with Alyssa or Andy. Alyssa & Andy exude calm & welcoming vibes. Whether you’re just beginning or a seasoned pro, they’ll make you feel like you belong and remind you that your practice is for you. Plus, Alyssa has the best playlist to help with your head space.

Troy City Yoga is a hidden gem. When you walk inside you’ll find an oasis-like space filled with cool plants. Everyone is kind and welcoming. The variety of classes offered is awesome and each teacher offers something unique!I first tried ‘The Fix’ class taught by Andy. As someone finding their way back to exercising, but completely new to yoga (could barely reach my toes), Andy’s class was very welcoming. While some moves were initially challenging, Andy makes it accessible and sets a playful attitude to the more difficult movements that encourages you to give them a try. After attending a few more classes and slowly improving each time I became hooked.‘The Reset’ taught by Melissa is also a really fun class. During Shavasana Melissa generously offers reiki, which helps you find a good headspace.Abbe’s ‘Intro to Solar Flow’ has also been a blast. Abbe offers new challenges and the best pep talks to encourage you through them. The movements are nice and fluid. This class helps push past mental blocks and challenge what you believe you are capable of.Lastly, I’ve really enjoyed trying ‘Resilient Flow’ with Lynne. Lynne provides great cues to help you know what to look for in each movement and cares about your growth and improvement.TCY is an amazing community of people. It’s refreshing to be surrounded by those focused on health and I can’t wait to see the impact over time.If you want to feel so much better in your mind and body try a few classes. You will find something you love and begin to see an awesome change in your life.Thank you TCY!!!

TCY is a beautiful and welcoming space to practice yoga. Classes have challenged my physical limits. What I really enjoy is the incorporation of the fundamentals of yoga and mini workshops throughout classes to really help you strengthen your mental and spiritual practice as well.

I've take nearly every class at TCY and it isn't just a yoga studio. It is a place where friendships are forged and love for self and others is grown. It's a place where people come together to learn, grow as individuals and as a community. Abbe has created an inclusive environment where every student is welcomed. She encourages you to be your own teacher and pushes your curiosity to explore and dig deep into commitments to yourself and community. Her extensive knowledge is so inspiring, authentic and motivating! All the instructors at her studio are well versed and committed to growth on and off the mat. The energy is palpable and contagious! Do yourself a favor and walk through the doors of this studio and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. There is a class for every body and mind. You may even leave with a few new friends- Its almost impossible not to xoxo

First visit here and I can wholeheartedly say it won’t be my last. As soon as you step through the door you feel the joy & love that went into creating this incredible sacred space. I felt at home immediately and felt safe, seen & supported. Melissa was a compassionate caring instructor and her inner light made the space shine even brighter with joy. You can clearly see she not only practices yoga but lives it. If you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years you will feel your heart & soul smile here.

Stopped in here on a recent work trip and this space is absolutely divine! The moment you walk in the doors you can feel the love that went into creating such a beautiful space. I have been to many different yoga studios and Troy City Yoga is by far the most peaceful and inclusive studio I've been to. I left here feeling empowered and elevated. Everyone I talked to was helpful and answered all my questions. As someone who has anxiety, they made me feel like this space was safe. I cannot recommend Troy City Yoga enough.EVERYONE should come and attend at least one class here!!!Thank you Troy City Yoga for such a magical and empowering experience.

Really beautiful and spacious yoga studio with tall ceilings and natural light. SO MANY PLANTS. I felt like I was in an arboretum. They have every prop you need, blocks, bolsters, towels and don’t charge a rental fee if you need to borrow a mat. The infrared heating panels are really cool. When you walk it it doesn’t feel too warm, but during class they heat your body and give you a really nice and sweaty practice. So far, every teacher has been great. My first class was with the owner Abbe. She was so welcoming. I loved her class. She added in history and philosophy to a strong flow. I have also taken class with Shireena which was really fun and creative. There is also an awesome brewery next door open Wednesday-Sunday. Great to grab a pint after!

So excited about having this beautiful studio in my home city. I was nervous about practicing indoors since Covid, but when I walked in I felt really safe. The space is huge and open with really high ceilings. Everything was clean and it is clear the owners and teachers take great pride in this place! Can’t wait to return!

Troy City Yoga is pure magic. An inviting and electric atmosphere with a diverse offering of classes and a perfectly curated lineup of instructors that provide an immersive experience for any level. TCY has fostered the most supportive community of yogis! Abbe has the ability to make even the most novice practitioner believe that they can achieve anything with commitment to the process. If you’ve ever felt hesitant to step onto a yoga mat, start your journey here, everyone is ready to root for you. If you think you’ve done it all, show up to be challenged and pushed to an even higher level. The Ribbon app they use to book classes is super user friendly and they’re quick to answer any questions. Every week I look forward to my next class.
