What a great facility, I went for pickleball and it's a fantastic setup. There's great tennis courts, football field and soccer field too + inside the building are facilities for art, theater, aquatics, fitness and additional athletics. I recommended exploring their website 🌞 …

Fantastic recreational place! Great for the whole family. They have many activities for all seasons. We absolutely LOVE the summer program! They have many options for kiddos from ages 6 and up. The camp staff/teachers are ABSOLUTELY amazing!! We have had nothing but great experiences. Heads up if you're planning to send you children here for summer camp, plan to sign up early because it fills up quick. The aquatic center is fantastic! They have a schedule online. Make sure you check it because they have classes scheduled for different age groups. Open swim I think opens at 2 pm. Please check the schedule before you visit. The lifeguards are nice and very serious about the pool rules. They are not shy to enforce them to all people children and adults. I love that because it keeps us all safe. They have an area in the pool that is designated for young kids. It's shallow enough where kids can play in the water safely. Parents need to be with their children of course. They also have a HUGE water slide that is awesome 👍🏽!! As an adult I have been on it and loved every minute of it! There is a height chart requirement. Kids are measured and they must be experienced swimmers. Kids wearing lifejackets will NOT be allowed to use the water slide. There are two pools one is about 3 feet and all people can use this pool. Within this pool there is a lazy river. The water current takes you round. It's fun! There is another pool that is very deep and the lifeguards need to see you swim prior to letting you use it. They are assessing your swimming skills to make sure you'll be safe. They offer life jackets for the kiddos who are still learning to swim. Life jackets sizes range from 8 months to 10 years old. Depending on the size of your child. They also encourage parents to bring their own life jackets if you have some available. They clean the lifejackets regularly. The changing rooms in the pool area could use more cleaning. It's hard to use them especially with children when they are dirty. On a brighter note they offer exercise classes of all sorts. Check online for schedule and classes. The gym opens as early as 5:30 am. It's a good size gym with weights and exercise machines. If you're a resident of Farmington hills you can be eligible for a resident discount. Be sure to ask the front desk people.

This was a very nice pool but not very kid friendly for children under 5! The kids couldn't stand on the log that was in the water to jump off. They front desk staff wasn't very friendly and the male that was up there was not so nice. Had a nerve to tell me to hug my child(because they were loud) and it echos in that space because her and her small cousins were excited about going swimming. Mind you they are all under the age of 5. It was my family and I first time there and was talking to us like we been there before instead of asking the right questions. They didn't smile and wasn't very welcoming! Also, they didn't have a sauna and half the bathroom was not working so limited bathrooms!

This facility is brand new and gorgeous. They have great summer camps for kids. The summer camps get sold out very quickly. Our children have taken multiple camps in the last two years, and they love them. Many kids from neighboring cities also come for camps. They have awesome rec classes like Pickle Ball, Tennis, soccer, etc.The theatre is gorgeous. We attended multiple shows there. Overall, we are really lucky to have a community center like Hawk.

5 star rating based on my experience of only using the tennis courts. The courts are fresh. Clean. No cracks.Pro Tips:1. Don’t play on court 5 or 6, if a ball goes over the back or side fence. There is no way to recover it.2. There is no shade on any courts for most of the day. Except, there is some shade on the back side of court 6 around 9am and almost full shade on court 1 around 7pm. So, pack that sunscreen and stay hydrated ya’ll!3. It can get windy. Fingers crossed for some fence wind screens4. PIcKLeBaLl paddle noise can get annoying to some. They play right next to the courts.5. There are leagues and organized paid practice that play during the week there and use some to all of the courts — so check the calendar at the fence. Or just join a practice / league.

. My wife and I are currently watching the Ray Urena Quintet concert. Great music. Great night.. You can also get your dog access tag and key fob for the William Grace Dog Park at the front desk.

Nice shallow pool, not too cold. Bummed there isn't a hot tub but the lazy river, splash zone, and water slide are fun! Also an amazing art lesson area and maker space where you can learn 3D printing, embroidery, glow forge/laser etching and more! You have to take a class on each machine to help ensure you won't break it but after that you can come in anytime to work on your own projects. It's great for crafters/small businesses not ready to invest in an industrial machine or without the space at home. Also a nice workout center but I am not athletically inclined :p
