Karate America

I was in Fort Lauderdale for the AAU Taekwondo Nationals, but my airline lost my staff. I looked around for dojos that sold staffs and thankfully found Karate America. Not only did they have the exact size and weight I needed, they loaned it to me for free. They also made accommodations to pick it up on a day they were closed because my flight left so early the next day. Everyone I spoke to there was very friendly and extremely helpful. The class I saw through the doorway looked interesting. Thank you Karate America!

My son started here in end of 2021, when he was 4 and 1/2 years old. He absolutely loves it. The instructors, Mr. Ferrer, Mr. Riviera and Mr. Peterson are amazing and very helpful. Their equipment and location are great. We loved it so much that my wife and I enrolled as well. Highly recommend them.

Great place for the kids, my son love it and he look forward to every single class. Love the environment and teacher are very patient but also teach them so much about discipline. Thank you for your dedication.

I cannot say enough about this academy and its instructors, Mr. Ferrer and Mr. Rivera!! My two children attend the classes here and love it. They are not only learning martial arts like karate and self defense (a gift every child should have for life), but my children are also learning confidence, positive attitudes, accountability, and leadership to apply to their daily lives.The dedication and unending energy of Mr. Ferrer to instill in each child such skills and qualities, along with the steady calm, care and focus of Mr. Rivera sets this academy apart from the others that we have tried.They offer a month of free classes for anyone thinking about joining which is a reflection of their ethics and commitment.We even had our child’s birthday party here. The kids had a ball and everyone was impressed.Go try a class and you will quickly see what I mean!

Incredible experience for my son! This place exceeds my high expectations every time. Family like environment but packs a serious kick. Thinking of joining adult class because I love what I see!

I can not say enough about how amazing Mr. Ferrer and Mr. Rivera are. The amount of knowledge they bring to their teaching is beyond anything my family has experienced for both the kids and adult classes. They genuinely care about each and every student. We are so pleased with the change over this school has gone through this past year. My family has trained for 10 years (9 years at this school) and we are so happy to be back. I highly recommend this school!

The very very best!!! I love this place. My daughter started at age 7 and I cannot say enough about benefits for my child. We continued here at this location even after moving an hour away because I could not find another school as good as this one!

The kick boxing classes are great. The karate classes are not age grouped like I am used to. My son was 5 at the time and was in the same classes as teens and even a Dad. It was odd. He didn't get individual attention and they try to sell you a one on one package but I was already paying about $130/ mth that didn't include equipment. For an adult this is a great place to join. The kids night is pricey but well worth it. My son didn't want to leave and Dad and I got to go on a date while he had a blast at the center.

Mr. Twiggs and his daughter are awesome instructors!! My son has been going to Karate America since December 2014 and his behavior and confidence in himself has gotten better. At Karate America they teach kids discipline, respect and leadership skills. I also have attended the adult classes also and was very happy with my results.Delete review
