I have never had a gym membership before but if I do this is where I will go. I have been here several time now to do work for the owner. He's an amazing guy to work with and his clients are always joking and laughing and enjoying themselves. These are phenomenal people doing amazing work. I would come for the people. If you are debating a gym this is where you should start and end your journey!

I used to manage top-tier fitness club in Washington, D.C. We were notorious for having the best trainers in the District. Which makes me wonder, what is Brett doing here?!?!! Brett is one of the most professional and knowledgeable trainers I've had the pleasure of working with. He makes our workouts safe, fun, and effective. Like anyone who works 10-12 hour shifts, my body is riddled with imbalances and postural distortion from doing repetitive motions and sitting too much. My goals are to walk/run without pain, breath with my diaphragm instead of my chest, and be able to squat down and stand up from the toilet without ever needing assistance. Being able to play some pickup basketball again without losing my breath after a few times down the court will be a great side benefit! Brett and I are on the same page that health goals are lifelong. I never want to be in The position of needing someone else to wipe my a**. I would never put myself in that position to require that of my loved ones if I could prevent it. And, I can, and I am. The muscle I've lost and the fat I've gained didn't occur over night; it happened over the years. Accomplishing my goals won't happen over night either. Brett empathizes with my needs without pity or sympathy. He knows my limits and capabilities, and pushes me appropriately while keeping me safe. As a former athlete and men's physique competitor, I'm grateful to have a professional at this level of expertise in this area. We're seeing tremendous results toward my goals, and with his nutritional guidance, it's only a matter of time until we see the added bonus/side effect in the form of six-pack abs again! Thanks for your help, Brett!

What strikes me the most about MAC Training is its level of individual care and attention. I've worked with personal training friends who pay close attention to me as an individual but didn't necessarily track my exact needs and limits to ensure that I was pushing myself to my all every time, and I've worked with "large gym" personal trainers who scarcely even remember my name and give me a carbon-copy workout, all the while saying such things like "yeah, usually MOST women like to do this" or "I find that MOST females struggle with..." At MAC, you're an individual, and you are safely encouraged to embrace your full potential while still somehow having fun doing it! Highly recommended! Just give it a shot for even just one session--you'll see what I mean, and you'll want to go back. Motivation is so much a part of ongoing physical fitness...You'll find it at MAC.

Brett is an amazing personal trainer. He used to train at the collegiate level and is an expert in weight training, plyometrics, nutrition, and just overall health. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
