Very nice facility for students who are into working out. A climbing wall, weights, cardio, racquetball courts and a basketball court. Also there are exercise classes to sign up for if you like. Outside is a small pool and music playing.

Good setup, spacious. I could only find 1 calf machine. No pictures allowed. There are two useless rules about no gym bags on the floor, which definitely bothers me as I don't want my phone or wallet stolen. There are plenty of lockers, though. The other bad rule is the banning of chalk. You NEED chalk if you're lifting heavy volume. This gym gets crowded, but the students are nice and willing to let you work in with them. A great variety of activities like rock climbing are here too.

If you're a student of Cal State University of Fullerton... you're super lucky! This gym has almost everything you need and it is part of your tuition so make use of it! My child goes here. Makes me want to enroll in maybe one subject just so I can use their rec center.

Great place to workout if you go to Cal State Fullerton. Towels are issued here. It does get crowded during mid-day because people go during class when having intermittent schedule. Sometimes every single piece of equipment is taken.I ultimately stopped working out here because the overcrowd day issue. I only use the lockers here which cost like 25 dollars a semester I think.

Everything is great, but the timings on Saturdays and Sundays are bit awkward. At least the gym should get open at 6 am on weekends. To add on, I get emails very frequently about the SRC closed.

I've used a guest pass with my son who has a gym membership. The weights are well-maintained. My son and I enjoy the racquetball courts. The Rec center has a welcoming environment. We also enjoy the newly renovated Cardio Studio upstairs.

Overall it gets the job done. However there is too big of an emphasis on machines rather than power racks or deadlifting platforms. And this isn't a problem with the gym staff but weights are often not placed in the proper racks by patrons despite there being clear labels for them.
