Crunch Fitness - Gainesville

Awesome gym, it’s always been clean, and has everything you need. Tyler, Eli, Orrin, and Ivan are always great to see and super helpful.

I absolutely love coming here. I mean, I really just can't help myself. I only go to Crunch Fitness because there's this jacked freaky blonde dude at the counter with massive delts that makes me feel really small every time I come in so I have to work out even harder. It is what it is. He's a cool dude though and the rest of the workers are all chill and pleasant people. Get more hack squats tho crunch>>>ghf

Changed their guest option where you have to $5 more a month, and even with a contract and screenshot of what they use to offer they changed their plans and then literally act like that's not the same site (crunchfitness.) They got egotistical and mad when we brought up the plans changed. This is a problem with this place, they don't treat customers with respect and get hostile when asked questions. A bunch of young kids flirting with girls in yoga pants, hogging machines and even the employees trying to start fights with customers over trivial matters, thier is a blonde kid with acne (an employee) said " you wanna take this outside?" to a customer who tried understanding their gym plan and got upset over it... Absolutely hilarious gym, be warnedEdit: I wanted to clarify my family member owns the membership, last name is the same. One question, why were we told because we signed online, it's not the same as price as the Gainsville location? Is this common for your employees to tell members this?

Good gym! Wide range of equipment (cable, machines, and free-weights), plenty of cardio machines (ellipticals, treadmills and stairmasters) and friendly staff. Clean and spacious bathroom with a steam room. I will note that it gets busy around 4-7PM from my experience, especially in the free weights and cables section.Edit: I also had an incident with a missing item and the general manager Tori was very friendly and took initiative in helping me recover my item! Thankful for her!

I love to come and workout here all the time. This gym has amazing staff that and very helpful and so kind. The (GN) has been awesome to me. Amazing trainers and complete clean gym. I would highly recommend!

Just went back to crunch for the first time in months and the staff seems nicer and everything was clean. Thank you crunch and whoever was working at the front that helped me with my membership

UPDATE:They give you one plan but suddenly change your plan and bill you without telling you. For example, I was signed up for the $10/month plan but suddenly changed to then $19/month plan.. Apparently I was not the only one. This is not clearly explained either. Despite the cost, this should be better communicated.The equipment is very good. It has more than basic weights, machines, and includes a lot of cardio machines. Everything is there for a solid workout and for what I need to cross train, protect from injury, tone, and maintain my bone mass It is a bargain 💪It's doesn't exactly have a welcoming or community feel. But it's a big gym. They hardly even speak or greet you at times, unless they already know you or perhaps fit a certain aesthetic profile.

Been coming here 3 years, awesome staff, equipment, and community. Shout out to Detron - I had some issues with my account + a machine and he was there to help. Great customer service !

The gym itself is fine, standard chain gym. It’s usually always packed and hard to get into the free weights area. So if that’s your thing, I’d definitely go during non-peak hours. I usually track the packed bar but it always says light and well… it’s really anything but light lol.The kids staff is the bomb, love them and my kids have such a good time. So that’s really the win here.
